Background: The use of antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) during pregnancy warrants several side effects and also deleterious effects on fetal development, the antiepileptic drugs have potential to affect the fetal development throughout the pregnancy although, the majority of infants born to epileptic pregnant women are normal but more expose to the malformations. Aim: The present study aimed to investigate the effect of carbamazepine drug on the kidney development at day 7 postnatally in the Albino Rat (Rattus rattus) as a mammalian model. Material & Methods: 20 healthy pregnant female rats were divided into two groups, 10 pregnant rats in each group; group one served as control group administrated distal water while group two used as experimental group which administrated carbamazepine drug at dose 20mg/kg/rat daily from first day of pregnancy till 7 th day after birth in both groups. On 7 th day after birth, the newborns and kidneys were removed; the weight is measured and then fixed, dehydrated in ascending grades of alcohol, cleared in xylene and infiltrated with filtered paraffin. The paraffin blocks were made and 5μm thin sections were obtained using a rotary microtome. The sections were stained with H&E stain, PAS examined under light microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Results: Under the light microscope, the kidney in Group II show the glomerular atrophy with enlargement of Bowman’s space, hemorrhage, congestion, degeneration and hypertrophy of simple squamous epithelial lining cells of partial layer of Bowman's capsule, glomerular cells accumulation, detachment of tubular epithelial lining cells from basement membrane and tubular degeneration represented by (cell swelling, loss nucleus and cell death); a statistically significant differences have been shown in the diameter of renal corpuscle, glomerular tuft and Bowman’s space, and also in the renal tubules proximal and distal convoluted tubules (p<0.001). The results of scanning electron microscope found that the visceral layer of renal corpuscle contain specialized cells called podocyte cells and the diameter of these cells is statistically significant in treated group in comparison to control group (p<0.001), while There is no significant differences found in the weight of kidneys and newborns. Conclusion: The results of the present study indicated that carbamazepine drug administration to the dams produced teratogenic effects on the developing of kidney in rat.
The research aims to examine the evaluation of educational quality management and the ways to improve it in the College of Education for Women at the University of Baghdad from the point of view of the academic staff. The research community consisted of (288) participants comprising all members of the academic staff in the College of Education for Women at the University of Baghdad for the academic year (2019-2020). As for the questionnaire, it was distributed to the academic staff of the scientific departments according to their affiliation for the purpose of identifying the availability of the requirements of the quality of the teaching service provided to them by the educational institution. The researcher adopted a questionnaire deve

The NAG-5SX1-1D-SSP Analyzer is composed of five irradiation sources of white snow leds having the diameter of 10 mm with one solar cell of 55 mm length, 13.5 mm width. Using a selector switch to select the optimum voltage to be used which was 2.7 VDC. Under conditions of optimization, cobalt (II) ion was determined at 0.005–20 mmol. This research deals with the two item namely, the monetary policy central Bank of Iraqi and money supply . that contribute in up the problem of the paper that is concerned with the fact that to what extent the effectiveness of monetary policy conducted by the central Bank of Iraqi is valid in controlling money supply as well as the possibility of applying it in practical environment restricted to the scope of financial in stitiutions particularly in research population represented by central Bank of Iraqi .
For the purpose of a practical contribution for monetary and financial institutions . To achieve this , A hypothesis has been carried out and it suggested that the mon

Among these cytokines, IL-31 and CXCL16 have not been well studied in AS. Patients and methods The study included 94 male patients with AS and 91 age-matched control males. Interleukin and chemokine levels were measured using ELISA kits. Results Serum levels of IL-17A, CXCL10, and CXCL16 were significantly ele

However, safety concerns associated with flammable organic electrolytes hinder further development. Advancing Li-ion battery technology requires improved conductivity, energy density, and safety, particularly in the development of all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries (ASSLiBs). This work explores carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)-based solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) as sustainable alternatives for lithium-ion batteries. The synergistic effects of 1-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium chloride ([BMIm]Cl) ionic liquid, as a plasticizer, and lithium acetate (LiCH3COO) enhance the

Based on three theories of learning, which are structural, behavioral, and meaningful learning. The research aimed to identify the effect of using the Daniel model for people with two types of brain control (left and right) to learn the skill of the Cartwheel in artistic gymnastics for students of the second stage. Therefore, numerous efforts made by many researchers to control the steel corrosion. In the present work, A (E)-4-(((4-(5-mercapto-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl) phenyl) amino) methyl)-2-methoxyphenol (MOPM) has been synthesized and characterized as a new corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in 0.1 M hydrochloric acid. FTIR and 1 HNMR were used in the diagnosis of MOPM, while electrochemical polarization technique was employed to test the performance of inhibitor at various temperatures and inhibitor concentrations. Electrochemical studies showed that MOPM acts as a mixed-type inhibitor with a maximum inhibition efficiency of

It represents the development of urban life and its capital of the interest of its people in the field of construction and reconstruction. The urban heritage and its associated arts may seem to be a material heritage at first glance, but it is not free from the spiritual side. Therefore, the nations in different parts of the earth cherish it and care for it with all due diligence, because it mixes with its history, memories and emotions.
This research discusses the use of local environment materials in the production of urban fabric constituents. I
The current research deals with the dialectical relationship resulting from the conflict in the violent combination and construction of the living ( the actor)and the dead (the item) in the structure of the Sinography construction and the emergence of the theatrical play space , which can be summed up by the following question: what is the nature of the dialectical relationship between the living (the actor) and the dead( the item) in the Sinography creation, which limited the research in a central objective : to identify the controversy of the living (actor) and the dead (item) in the performance unit of the theatrical scene .
