Feasibility of Internet of Things Application for Real-Time Healthcare for Malaysian Pilgrims
...Show More Authors

Internet of Things (IoT) technology could be an effective solution to accomplish real-time retrieval of historical electronic health records (EHRs) to present better service of healthcare. In a pilgrimage environment such as the Hajj, IoT can be applied by identifying the non-local patients as electronic tags, and the tag data can be read by wireless sensors. The data that is collected using Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) can be acquired from a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) in order to accomplish many decisions, such as sending an ambulance to a patient’s location, sending an emergency alert to his immediate family circle, and retrieving his EHR from a database. The main contribution of this research is to propose a conceptual IoT framework relevant to support the non-local patients through retrieval of EHR between countries via internet network. The conceptual framework based on four layers (connectivity, access, abstraction and service) is proposed to show how the IoT can be a solution for the case study. The validation results show that the proposed framework is useful to serve the health cases of Malaysian pilgrims.

Developing Crisis Management System for Construction Projects in Iraq
...Show More Authors

Construction is a complicated process that takes place in an almost uncontrollable environment. Although projects can be carefully planned in advance in principle, there is a chance that unforeseen events and crises can disrupt these plans, affecting project development. Because the initial investment expenditures in construction projects are so large, they may be quickly influenced by crises, resulting in significant financial losses. The 2014 financial crisis was one of the most prominent crises that Iraq faced, which significantly impacted various activities in general and the construction industry in particular. Despite the importance of crisis management systems, the researchers found a great lack of local studies l

Intelligent Path Planning for Robotics Using Software Defined Networks
...Show More Authors

This paper proposes a hybrid learning-based navigation framework that integrates classical path planning with a spiking neural network model to achieve scalable and computationally efficient robot navigation in grid - based environments. Optimal reference trajectories are generated using the Spiking Wavefront Planner (SWP) over occupancy maps derived from the KITTI Odometry dataset. These expert paths are employed to train a Super Elman Spiking Neural Network (SE-SNN) using the e-prop learning rule to capture sequential navigation decisions. The framework is evaluated across map sizes ranging from 100×100 to 400×400 and compared with classical planners such as A* and D* Lite. Results show that the proposed SWP-SE-SNN model reduces plannin

Cross-Lexicon Emoji Sentiment Divergence for Arabic Sarcasm Detection
...Show More Authors

This study aims to determine whether the divergence between context-free and context-sensitive emoji sentiment scores can serve as a complementary signal for sarcasm detection in Arabic. This phenomenon has received little systematic attention so far. To address this aim, we conducted a multi-scale empirical investigation. At the lexicon level, we compared 1,031 overlapping emoji from two Arabic sentiment resources: the context-sensitive Arab-ESL, derived from 144,196 tweets, and the context-free CF-Arab-ESL, annotated by 53 native speakers across seven Arab regions. At the corpus level, we examined the divergence pattern in a stratified random sample of 199,999 tweets drawn from the 1,414,523-tweet TEAD collection. At the task leve

The modern business environment Witness tremendous. These developments result from globalization of markets and economic and technological openness. Those developments resulting a heightened competition between economic units and higher the costs of their products and lower their functional characteristics. They do not take into account the response to the requirements of customers. This matter commit it to search for scientific methods to help it to cope with the happening changes and improve its competitive position, The current study acquired its importance by providing significance through by applicable integrated framework to reduce the costs of products. This reduction should be without compromising their quality by using the integr

Material Selection for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) Wings Using Ashby Indices Integrated with Grey Relation Analysis Approach Based on Weighted Entropy for Ranking
...Show More Authors

The designer must find the optimum match between the object's technical and economic needs and the performance and production requirements of the various material options when choosing material for an engineering application. This study proposes an integrated (hybrid) strategy for selecting the optimal material for an engineering design depending on design requirements. The primary objective is to determine the best candidate material for the drone wings based on Ashby's performance indices and then rank the result using a grey relational technique with the entropy weight method. Aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, composites, and wood have been suggested as suitable materials for manufacturing drone wings. The requirement

A noval SVR estimation of figarch modal and forecasting for white oil data in Iraq
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this paper is to model and forecast the white oil during the period (2012-2019) using volatility GARCH-class. After showing that squared returns of white oil have a significant long memory in the volatility, the return series based on fractional GARCH models are estimated and forecasted for the mean and volatility by quasi maximum likelihood QML as a traditional method. While the competition includes machine learning approaches using Support Vector Regression (SVR). Results showed that the best appropriate model among many other models to forecast the volatility, depending on the lowest value of Akaike information criterion and Schwartz information criterion, also the parameters must be significant. In addition, the residuals

Study the Effect of Multilayer Single Point Incremental Forming on Residual Stresses for Bottom Plates

Abstract

Knowing the amount of residual stresses and find technological solutions to minimize and control them during the production operation are an important task because great levels of deformation which occurs in single point incremental forming (SPIF), this induce highly non-uniform residual stresses. In this papera propose of a method for multilayer single point incremental forming with change in thickness of the top plate (0.5, 0.7, 0.9) mm and lubrication or material between two plates(polymer, grease, grease with graphite, mos2) to knowing an effect of this method  and parameters on residual stresses for the bottom plates. Also compare these results for the
