Private versus Public Hospitals: Patient Satisfaction of Nursing Care Quality in Orthopaedic Wards
...Show More Authors
Background:

Patient’s satisfaction with nursing care is thought to be a key component in determining how patients perceive service quality. Quantifying patient satisfaction in both private and public healthcare settings can offer essential evidence on performance; consequently, reflected on quality management.

Aims:

This study aims to explore patients’ satisfaction with the quality of nursing care.

Subjects and Methods:

A descriptive-cross-sectional study was conducted, involving 251 patients selected through a random selection method. Data were collected using the patient satisfaction with Nursing Care Quality Questionnaire, comprising a total of 20 items. The collected data were then analysed and interpreted using descriptive and inferential statistics. Data were analysed using SPSS V25.

Results:

The findings of the current study show that more than half (52.6%) of subjects were somewhat satisfied with the provided nursing education. Similarly, more than half (55%) of subjects were somewhat satisfied with the provided nursing care. Correspondingly, (60.2%) of subjects were somewhat satisfied with the overall provided nursing services, including both the educational and the actual direct nursing care.

Conclusions:

Overall, patients expressed general satisfaction with the inpatient nursing care they received, and their perceived needs and care expectations from nurses significantly influenced their satisfaction levels.

1-[4-(2-Hydroxy-4, 6-dimethyl-phenylazo)-phenol]-ethanone (HL1) and 2-(4-methoxy-phenylazo)-3, 5-dimethyl-phenol (HL2) were produced by combination the diazonium salts of amines with 3, 5-dimethylphenol. The geometry of azo compounds was resolved on the basis of (C.H.N) analyses, 1H and 13CNMR, FT-IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic mechanisms. Complexes of La (III) and Rh (III) have been performed and depicted. The formation of complexes has been identified by using elemental analysis, FT-IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic process as well, conductivity molar quantifications. Nature of complexes produced have been studied obeyed mole ratio and continuous alteration ways, Beer's law followed through a concentration scope (1×10-4 - 3×10-4 M). H

The Calculation and Analysis of the Total Electron Content Over Different Latitudes and Seasons Using the Numerical Trapezoidal and Simpson Methods
...Show More Authors

It has been shown in ionospheric research that calculation of the total electron content (TEC) is an important factor in global navigation system. In this study, TEC calculation was performed over Baghdad city, Iraq, using a combination of two numerical methods called composite Simpson and composite Trapezoidal methods. TEC was calculated using the line integral of the electron density derived from the International reference ionosphere IRI2012 and NeQuick2 models from 70 to 2000 km above the earth surface. The hour of the day and the day number of the year, R12, were chosen as inputs for the calculation techniques to take into account latitudinal, diurnal and seasonal variation of TEC. The results of latitudinal variation of TE

Comparative Histopathological Study of Ciprofloxacin Impact on Mus Musculus Renal Cortex Infected with Multi-drug Resistance and Susceptible Uropathogenic Escherichia Coli
...Show More Authors

Urinary tract infections are mainly caused by uropathogenic Escherichia coli, which represent a significant global issue along with the rising of antibiotic resistance and treatment challenges. The aim of this study was to evaluate ciprofloxacin efficacy as a treatment in animal models following infection with multidrug-resistant UPEC and multidrug-susceptible UPEC and to determine the nephrotoxic effect of these antibiotics on the renal cortex. Up to 76 E. coli isolates were collected from UTI patients in Baghdad province, characterized by morphological and biochemical features, and confirmed using the Vitek-2 compact system. Mice were orally infected via gastric gavage with G33 using a bacterial load of 107 cells/ml, followed by p
