This study evaluated the structural changes of enamel treated by the Regenerate system and carbon dioxide (CO2) laser against acid challenge. Thirty human enamel slabs were prepared and assigned into three groups: Group I: untreated (control); Group II: treated with the Regenerate system; and Group III exposed to CO2 laser. Objective: the idea of this study to improve transdermal permeability of Methotrexate using eucalyptus oil, olive oil and peppermint oil as enhancers.
Method: eucalyptus oil (2% and 4%), peppermint oil (2% and 4%) and olive oil (2% and 4%) all used as natural enhancers to develop transdermal permeability of Methotrexate via gel formulation. The gel was subjected to many physiochemical properties tests. In-vitro release and permeability studies for the drug were done by Franz cell diffusion across synthetic membrane, kinetic model was studied via korsmeyer- peppas equation.

Coupling reaction of 4-aminoantipyrene with 8-hydroxyqunoline gave the new bidentate azo ligand 5-(4-antipyrene azo)-8-hydroxyqunoline. Treatment of this ligand with the following metals ions (MnII, CoII, NiII, CuII and ZnII) in aqueous ethanol with a 1:2 M:L ratio yielded a series of neutral complexes of the general formula [M(L)2Cl2]. The prepared complexes were characterized using flame atomic absorption, FT.IR, UV-Vis spectroscopic as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements.
