Three cultivars of the crop Almash (Green Indian VC6089A10, Green Indian VC6173B1319, and Black Indian Gold Star) were tested in a field experiment during the 2022 growing season in Ramadi, Anbar province, to determine the impact of spraying levels of zinc (0, 25, and 50) mg Zn L-1 and manganese (0, 30, and 60) mg Mn L-1 on some growth characteristics. The experiment was conducted using a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replicates, with each treatment being tested in a separate split plot. The study found that there were statistically significant differences between zinc levels, with the level giving 50 mg Zn L-1 having the highest rates for plant height (54.30 cm), number of branches per plant (7.34), plant branch-1, number of days from planting to flowering (40 days), leaf area (204.19) cm-1, and leaf chlorophyll content (33.93) (g), and the rate of crop growth (17.39) g, while the level exceeding 30 mg Mn L-1 had lower rates for plant height (These indicators were profoundly influenced by zinc spraying, manganese spraying, and different types of mung bean crops.

With the increasing use of antibiotics around the world, the study and appreciation of antibiotics has become essential. An antibiotic formulation may include one or added active ingredients depending on the type and method of manufacturing the antibiotic. Antibiotics can only combat diseases of bacterial origin. As for viral diseases such as the common cold and influenza, antibiotics will not be able to combat them. The objective of this review is to digest the literature related to estimation of antibiotics and to show the methods that have been used in the estimation of the antibiotics (amoxicillin, ampicillin, cephalothin, carbenicillin, and cefotaxime) in medicinal preparations and a biological fluid for example blood

The experiment included 4 treatments with 3 replicates for each treatment (10 birds/replicates), in order to study the effect of using avocado and chia oil and their mixture in meat broiler diets on some physiological and microbial characteristics of blood plasma. The results indicate a

The influence of different operational parameters (MnSO4 concentration, current density, time, and rotation speed) on the structure, and morphology of MnO2 deposit film was examined widely. The structure and crystal size determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), the morphology examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) techniques. The γ-MnO2 obtained as the main product of the deposition process. It found that the four parameters have a significant influence on the structure, morphology, and roughness of the prepared MnO2 deposit. The crystal size in

Under severe climate conditions, thermal cracking particularly contributes largely to a considerable scale of premature deterioration of pavement infrastructure worldwide. This challenge is especially relevant for Europe, as weather conditions vary significantly throughout the year. Hydrated lime (HL) has been recognized as an effective additive to improve the mechanical properties of asphalt concrete for pavement applications. Previous research has found that a replacement of conventional limestone dust filler using hydrated lime at 2.5% of the total weight of aggregates generated an optimum improvement in the mec

Limited experimental methods exist to quantify investigate the effect of wear-resistant coatings on shape parameters of soil-engaging tools. ASTM standard sand/rubber wheel abrasion and pin-on-disk tests are not able to simulate wear characteristics of the complex shape of the tillage tools. Even though the tribology of tillage tools can be realistic from field tests, tillage wear tests under field conditions are expensive and often challenging to generate repeatable engineeri
We conducted this study at the Department of Veterinary Public Health, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Baghdad over a period of 4 months to evaluate the effect of adding vitamin AD3E, folic acid, Selenium (Se), and Zinc (Zn) as dietary supplements on hematological and biochemical parameters of laying hens during the production period. A total of 105 commercial Lohmann Brown laying hens were used and divided into seven treatment groups (15 hens per group), which were T1: control group fed basal diet; T2: AD3E (1 g/kg feed) + basal diet, T3: folic acid (15 mg/kg feed) + basal diet T4: Zn (120 mg/kg feed) + Se (0.2 mg/kg feed) + basal diet, T5: AD3E + folic acid + basal diet, T6: AD3E + Se + Zn + basal diet, T7: AD3E + folic acid
