Numerous physiological and biochemical changes are linked to menopause. The current study was intended to examine the transforms linked to anthropometric measurements and bone-related factors. In this study of 80 women which included; they comprised 40 premenopausal women and 40 postmenopausal women. waist circumference (WC), body mass index (BMI), hip circumference (HC), moreover waist to hip ratio are among the anthropometric measurements (W-HR) recorded by standard procedures. The plasma samples were tested for the following biochemical parameters: bone-related parameters [calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), uric acid (UA), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)] and serological agglutination tests [rheumatoid factor (RF) and C-reactive protein (CRP)]. The mean of BMI, WC, and W-HR was significant (p<0.05) and much higher in postmenopausal women than their values in perimenopause women, while a non-significant (p>0.05) difference was found in the mean of HC between the two groups. The findings revealed that postmenopausal women's levels of Ca were substantially (p0.05) lower than premenopausal women's levels, while postmenopausal women's levels of P were significantly (p0.05) greater than premenopausal women's levels. In comparison to premenopausal women, post-menopause women had significantly higher levels of UA, ALP, and ESR (p<0.05). The results revealed that the number and percentage of CRP positive women out of the premenopausal women are only 8 (20 %), while the number and percentage of CRP-positive women out of the postmenopausal women are only 18 (45%); the differences are significant (p<0.05). Also, the results revealed that the number and percentage of RF positive women out of the premenopausal women are only 5 (12.5 %), while the number and percentage of RF-positive women out of the postmenopausal women are only 15 (37.5%). The differences are significant (p<0.05). According to the results, postmenopausal women had significant (P<0.05) higher rates of all chronic illnesses than premenopausal women. On the other hand, the prevalence of bone-related disease was substantially (P<0.05) greater in the premenopausal women (30%) and postmenopausal women (45%) research groups as well as the overall study population of women (37.5%). In conclusion, changes related to age in the anthropometric measurements and in the bone-related parameters, accompanied by reduced physical activity may all lead to the installation of several chronic diseases among postmenopausal women.
Background: The present study was carried out to compare shear bond strength of sapphire bracket bonded to zirconium surface after using different methods of surface conditioning and assessment of the adhesive remnant index. Materials and methods: The sample composed of 40 zirconium specimens divided into four groups; the first group was the control, the second group was conditioned by sandblast with aluminum oxide particle 50 μm, the third and fourth group was treated by (Nd: YAG) laser (1064nm)(0.888 Watt for 5 seconds) for the 1st laser group and (0.444 Watt for 10 seconds) for the 2nd laser group. All samples were coated by z-prime plus primer. A central incisor sapphire bracket was bonded to all samples with light cure adhesive res

One of main pointers that may be considered as one of immune evasion strategy in the host-parasite interplay is HLA-G level alteration. It is commonly used throughout the world especially for the purpose of oral hygiene. Muslims are using as the religious view. Current study aimed to test the ability of aqueous siwak extract to increase the resistance of enamel surface against acid dissolution compared to sodium fluoride. Materials and Method: Twenty maxillary first premolars were treated with the selected solutions included two aqueous siwak extract concentration(5%,10%) and sodium fluoride(0.05%)as control positive for 2 minutes once daily for 20days interval, de ionized water was used as control negative. The concentration of the dissolved phosphorus i

The study aims to identify the percentage of the equilibrium contribution and its variables with the accuracy of the skill of beating the high spike Diagonal center (4) in the players. In the national volleyball team season (2016-2017), the researchers used the descriptive approach in the style of associative relationships to suit the problem of research. The research community included all the players specialized in the high beating of the Iraqi national team applicants in the ball The researchers concluded that the equilibrium variables contributed accurately and quickly to t

In addition to that, it aimed at identifying the effect of this program on rehabilitating the knee joint working muscles. The researchers used the experimental method on Baghdad clubs’ players who suffer from complete knee joint ACL tear aged (19 – 24) years old. The results showed that the training program developed the working muscles significantly achieving normal levels of activity.
The research dealt with the impact of reinsurance on the financial surplus of the National Insurance Company by focusing on reinsurance in the marine insurance / merchandise branch. The aim of this research was to show the impact of reinsurance indicators (reinsurance ratios, retention ratios, commission rates earned) on reinsurance operations Data on the research variables were collected based on the inductive and deductive approach in the analysis of information for the financial reports of the National Insurance Company of the Marine Insurance Branch and the insurance portfolio (goods) for the period from 2010 to 2017, and for the purpose of obtaining results was used M a number of statistical methods commensurate with the nature of t

The percentages of the infection rate with this nematode were 27.27, 37.5, 14.28 and 0 in Columba livia, C. palumbis, Streptopelia decaocto, and S. turtur respectively. Reporting Hadjelia truncata from Streptopelia decaocto constitutes a new host record.
The Atoms in Molecules (AIM) analysis for triosmium cluster, which contains trihydridede, carbon, carbonyl and 2-methylbenzothiazolide ligands, [Os3(µ-H)3(µ3-ɳ2-CC7H3(2-CH3)NS)(CO)8] is reported. Bonding features in this cluster has been analyzed based on QTAIM ("Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules") in this work. The topological indices derived from electron density of relevant interactions in triosmium compound have been studied. The major interesting point of the AIM analyses is that the core of part (Os3H3) reveals the absence of any critical points and bond paths connecting any pairs of O
