Background: COVID-19 is a disease that started in Wuhan/China in late 2019 and continued through 2020 worldwide. In this study, ethyl fatty esters (EFEs), a major component of biodiesel fuel, were synthesized from soybean oil using sodium ethoxide as a catalyst.
