The paper tries to explore the grammatical phenomenon of rankshift in Systemic Grammar, a functional grammar that establishes five units or the rank scale , : namely sentence, clause phrase, word and morpheme .Rankshift a Hallidayan term , occurs when a given unit is downgraded or shifted down the rank scale and operates further down its rank or a rank equal to itself as when a clause which has to operate in sentence structure operates at q “ qualifier” in a nominal group. The paper , quite significantly, introduces the systemic background that enunciates the systemic theory whose organising concept system rather than structure. The paper then, grammatically explores rankshifted elements, successive rankshifting, degrees of rankshifting and types of rankshift .It ends with some concluding manifestations that serve to highlight the importance and necessity of this downgraded process.
The research discusses the issue of attribution to the verb, because the Arab scholars are unanimous in preventing attribution of the verb, because it is always informed of it, and does not inform about it, but this consensus violates the linguistic use. The research discusses this matter.

This paper presents the syntactic dimension of ditransitive verbs in terms of the universal theory of Role and Reference Grammar (RRG). This theory is syntactic in nature, but it also covers the semantic as well as the pragmatic aspects of any linguistic phenomenon. It assumes a universal framework through which syntactic constructions can be analyzed. However, the morphological structure that each language enjoys renders the universal treatment more complicated and can question the universal nature of such a theory. Our aim was to investigate the changes in the myocardium stiffness index for patients suffering from systemic hypertension, and to assess their left ventricular performance. We studied 263 hypertensive patients and 166 healthy subjects as a control group.
