هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على علاقة فاعلية الذات والفرع الأكاديمي بدافع الإنجاز الدراسي لدى طالبات كلية عجلون الجامعية. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (200) طالبة ممن درسن في أحد الفرعين العلمي أو الأدبي اختيرت بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية، وشكلت ما نسبته 10% من مجتمع الدراسة.

ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطبيق مقياس فاعلية الذات على عينة الدراسة، كما تم تطبيق مقياس دافع الإنجاز الدراسي على العينة نفسها

يواجه الكثير من الافراد مشكلات في التكيف، خاصة الطلبة الذين ينتقلون من المرحلة الدراسية الثانوية الى المرحلة الجامعية، حيث يرافق هذه البيئة الثقافية الاجتماعية العديد من الضغوط والمواقف التي تحتم على الطالب الوصول الى تكيف مثالي.

     The aim of this research is to identify the effectiveness of thinking skills in developing the life skills of the students of the first Academic year, particularly the differences in life skills according to the variable of study specialization (human-scientific). The study attempts to identify 1) the habits of playing video games among students, 2) the effect of playing video games on students’ academic achievement, 3) the statistically significant differences among students in regard of (gender, time of playing video games, number of hours).
