There is a real problem when adding micro elements to the soil as a result of fixation, sedimentation, washing or toxicity, and thus economic loss. The plant needs micro elements in very small quantities that do not burn the leaves or cause poisoning to plants, including iron, zinc and boron, as they are essential elements for growth and completing the plant's life cycle, and increase the plant's resistance to diseases and insects, activate enzymes, and form the chlorophyll molecule, in addition to their role in oxidation and reduction processes and vital processes. The use of fertilizers with their modern technology has made the process of activating seeds or foliar nutrition a matter of interest to researchers as a complementary process to adding fertilizers through the soil. Micronutrients contribute to the manifestation of the potential energy for the growth and yield of sunflowers, including iron, zinc and boron, and their role in improving germination, seedling growth, field establishment, photosynthesis, fertility, crop production and quality, taking into account the method of adding them, whether through soil addition, foliar nutrition or pre-treatment of seeds. The seed priming technique by soaking in solutions of micronutrient elements or adding them by spraying the vegetative part of the plant is characterized by overcoming the effects of the soil on the availability and absorption of these nutrients, and they are efficient and effective methods of plant nutrition. There is a practical and knowledge gap about the low soil stock of these nutrients, and it has become clear that they can be added in a single combination by seed priming or the vegetative growth stage to bridge this gap and enhance their role in regulating the physiological and vital processes that lead to ensuring increased growth, production and quality and obtaining seeds with high vitality and vigor. It can be concluded that the environmental conditions for growing sunflowers in Iraq are suitable and reveal the possibility of expanding its cultivation, especially when avoiding the weakness, delay and heterogeneity of germination resulting from low seed vitality, environmental conditions accompanying crop cultivation, nutritional deficiency and others through managing the mother plant.
This work explores the advancement and potential of solar‐powered humidification–dehumidification (HDH) desalination systems, addressing the critical challenge of global water scarcity. Emphasizing solar‐powered humidifiers in HDH systems presents an innovative solution per the urgent demand for sustainable freshwater sources utilizing abundant energy resources. This work reviews various humidifier designs, pointing out their crucial role in the efficiency and yield of HDH desalination units and their operational, maintenance, and scaling issues. Key factors, such as design effectiveness, water‐vapor capacity, and material selection, are assessed to understand their impact on the system's ove
Introduction: All-ceramic crowns are widely used in prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry due to their good esthetic and proper physical properties. Chipping of ceramic is one of the most common post-insertion complications, that can be fixed either extraoral or intraorally. The latter is time time-effective alternative, less traumatic, and low-cost. A newer objective method of laser is a surface modification of ceramics to increase surface roughness. The aim of this study is to provide a review of Er,Cr;YSGG (2960nm) in intraoral repair and shear bond strength (SBS). Method: A thorough search considering Google Scholar and PubMed published data and ten articles found wh
... Show MoreInduced EF is among the most important of advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) It was employed to treat different kinds of wastewater. In the present review, the types and mechanism of induced EF were outlined. Parameters affecting this process have been mentioned with details. These are current density, pH, H2O2 concentration, and time. The application of induced electro Fenton in various sectors of industries like textile, petroleum refineries, and pharmaceutical were outlined. The outcomes of this review demonstrate the vital role of induced EF in treatment of wastewater at high efficiency and low cost in contrast with conventional technique
Water saturation is the most significant characteristic for reservoir characterization in order to assess oil reserves; this paper reviewed the concepts and applications of both classic and new approaches to determine water saturation. so, this work guides the reader to realize and distinguish between various strategies to obtain an appropriate water saturation value from electrical logging in both resistivity and dielectric has been studied, and the most well-known models in clean and shaly formation have been demonstrated. The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in conventional and nonconventional reservoirs has been reviewed and understood as the major feature of this approach to estimate Water Saturation based on T2 distribution. A novel and distinctive electrochemical cell design was adopted consisting of two glass chambers, a supported liquid membrane (SLM) housing a polypropylene flat membrane infused with 1-octanol and a carrier. Two electrodes were used, a graphite as anode and a stainless steel as cathode. A comprehensive examination of several influential factors including the choice of carrier, the applied voltage magnitude, the initial pH of the donor solution, and the initial concentration of zinc was performed, all in a concerted effort to ascertain their respective impacts on the efficiency of zinc elim

Genetic research has been employed to find many of the missing connections between genetic risk variations and causal genetic components. Objective: The goal of this study is to look at the genetic variations of TNF-α and interleukins in Iraqi RA patients and see how they relate to disease severity or response to biological therapy. Method: Using specific keywords, the authors conducted a systematic and comprehensive search to identify relevant Iraqi studies examining the genetic variations of TNF-α and interleukins in Iraqi RA patients and how they relate to disease severity or response to biolo
