6-(2-benzathiazolyl azo),-3,5-dimethylphenol was formed by grouping the 2- benzothiazole diazonium chloride with 3,5-dimethylphenol. Azo ligand(L) was resolved on the origin by 1H and 13CNMR, FTIR and UV-V is spectral analysis. Complexation of tridentate ligand (L) with Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+ in aqueous of ethyl alcohol with a 1:2 metal:ligand, and at ideal pH.. The formation of metal chelates are assigned using flame atomic, absorption, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectral analysis, other than conductivity and magnetic estates. The nature of the metal chelates were carried out by mole ratio and continuous, variation mechanism, Beer's law, followed the rate (0.0001 - 3×0.0001 M) concentration., High molar, absorptivity, for the complex solutions were observed. On the origin data an octahedral geometry were described for the metal chelates. Biological activity of the ready compounds were assayed.
The activity of Alanine aminopeptidase( AAP ) was measured in the urine of healthy and urinary tract cancer patients , the results showed higher activity of (AAP) in patients compared to healthy . AAP was Purified from the urine of healthy and patients with urinary tract cancer by dialysis and gel filtration (Sephadex G – 50) and two isoenzymes of (AAP) were separated from urine by using ion-exchang resin (DEAE – Sephadex A – 50 ) in previous study. The kinetics studies showed that both isoenzymes I and II obeyed Michaelis – Menton equation . with optimal concentration of alanine-4-nitroanilide as substrate for isoenzymes I and II which was (2 x 10-3 mol/L ). The two isoenzymes obeyed Arrhenius equation up two 37° C and t

First, four samples of CNT solution and different ratios of the polymer (P3HT) [0.1, 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7 wt.%] are prepared to form thin layer of P3HT@CNT nanocomposites by dip-coating method of Ag. To investigate the absorption and conductivity properties for use in various practical applications, structure, morphology, optical, and photoluminescence properties of CNT/P3HT @Ag nanocomposite are systematically evaluated in this study. In this regard, the UV/Vis/NIR spectrophotometer in the wavelength range of 350 to 7

All the recorded results were fitted with Iraqi standers No. 25 in 1967 for all samples with heavy metals (arsenic Ar, Cadmium Cd, Chromium Cr, Zinc Zn, Lead Pb, Copper Cu, Nickel Ni, Manganese Mn, Ferrous Fe) where all concentration were lower than standard values except Cadmium (0.01- 0.014) in plants intakes and (0.027- 0.048) in river samples while the standard value is (0.005).

The new organic reagent 2-[Benzo thiazolyl azo]-4,5-diphenyl imidazole was prepared and used as complexing agent for separation and spectrophotometric determination of Cu2+ ion in some samples include plants, soil, water and human blood serum. Initially determined all factors effect on extraction method and the results show optimum pH was (pHex=9), optimum concentration was 40?g/5mLCu2+ and optimum shaking time was (15min.), as well stoichiometry study appears the complex structure was 1:1 Cu2+: BTADPI. Interferences effect of cations were studied. Synergism effect shows MIBK gave increasing in distribution ratio (D). Organic solvent effect appears there is no any linear relation between dielectric constant for organic solvent used and dis

A simple donor acceptor scenario used to calculate the rate for electron transfer of delocalized electronics in a non-degenerately TiO2 and ZnO electrodes to redox localized acceptors in an electrolytic. The dependent of electronic transition rate on the potential at contact of PTCDI with TiO2 and ZnO semiconductors, it has been discussion using TiO2 and ZnO electrodes in aqueous solutions. The charge transfer rate is determining by the overlapping electronic coupling to the TiO2 and ZnO electrodes, the transition energy, potential and polarity media within the theoretical scenario of

Show MoreA simple, rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method has been proposed for the determination of La (III) using 3-hydroxy -4-(2-hydroxy-phenyl azo) naphthalene -1- sulfonic acid as a chromogenic reagent. This method is based on the formation of a red-pink colored complex, upon the reaction of La(III) with the reagent in an alkaline medium (pH= 9.50), having a maximum absorbance at 459 nm. Beer's law is valid in the concentration range 0.512 µg.ml-1 with a Sandell's sensitivity value of 0.0188 µg.cm-2 and molar absorptivity of 7376.12 L.mol-1.cm-1. The absorption spectrum of the dye solutions, as well as the wavelength of the maximum absorbance of the dye loaded TiO2 film has been studied. The X-Ray diffraction pattern of TiO2 film made with Doctor-Blading technique shown that the grain size of TiO2 was equal to be 40 nm. The electrical performances in terms of short circuit current, open circuit voltage and power conversion efficiency of cells were investigated.
