The Effectiveness of Physical Exercises in Improving Lung Function After COVID-19 Infection: A Physiological Study Using Artificial Intelligence
...Show More Authors

The COVID-19 pandemic has deeply affected the respiratory health of people, leaving many sufferers with long term pulmonary problems. Artificial intelligence based physiological analysis of structured exercise program on lung function of recovered COVID 19 patient is studied. The research introduces an integrated data driven approach for assessing the improvement of respiratory through physical training. The approach is to integrate wearable sensor technology with machine learning algorithms. A controlled experimental study with three groups (recovered COVID-19 patients, smokers, healthy individuals) was used as a method. To that aim, each of the participants underwent an eight-week structured aerobic training program that included continuous monitoring through wearable devices of key physiological metrics, namely oxygen saturation, heart rate, respiratory rate and lactic acid levels. Trends were analyzed using machine learning models such as Random Forest and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks and used in the prediction of individual recovery progress. The trained recovered COVID-19 patients showed statistically significant improvement in lung function demonstrated by an average 5% increase in oxygen saturation and significant reduction in lactic acid. Further, the predictive models confirmed that participants who became more adapted to aerobic exercises prior to the respiratory virus had a higher probability of long-term respiratory recovery. This can serve as an indication of the potential of AI-driven personalized rehabilitation programs for increased efficacy of respiratory therapy. The role of artificial intelligence in rehabilitation sciences demonstrated by this research provides a new and transformative way for artificial intelligent algorithms to be tailored to individual patient’s physiological responses in real time. Future work will scale this approach to more patients and with more precise recovery prediction using advanced deep learning.

Using ethical artificial intelligence (EAI) to achieve sustainable development, Iraq as a case study
...Show More Authors
Introduction

Iraq faces persistent challenges in achieving sustainable development due to decades of conflict, political instability, and infrastructural degradation. These challenges are particularly evident in critical sectors such as energy, water, healthcare, education, and governance, which significantly influence human well-being, social equity, and quality of life. This study proposes an AI-driven, ethically guided, and human-centric sustainability framework to support resilient urban transformation in Iraq.

Artificial Intelligence Skills of Information Institutions Workers: A Descriptive Study
...Show More Authors

Objectives: This research aims to study the artificial intelligence (AI) skills re-quired by employees in information institutions, specifically university libraries in Iraq, to enhance their services and align with modern technological advancements. It highlights the gap between the current knowledge of employees in Al technologies and their practical applications to improve the services of information institutions. Methodology: The research adopted a descriptive survey method, targeting em- ployees in three prestigious university libraries in Baghdad: the Central Library of the University of Baghdad, the Central Library and House of Books of Al-Mustansiriyah University, and the Central Library of the Iraqi University. A sample of (160)

Digital Intelligence for University Students Using Artificial Intelligence Techniques

The research problem arose from the researchers’ sense of the importance of Digital Intelligence (DI), as it is a basic requirement to help students engage in the digital world and be disciplined in using technology and digital techniques, as students’ ideas are sufficiently susceptible to influence at this stage in light of modern technology. The research aims to determine the level of DI among university students using Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques. To verify this, the researchers built a measure of DI. The measure in its final form consisted of (24) items distributed among (8) main skills, and the validity and reliability of the tool were confirmed. It was applied to a sample of 139 male and female students who were chosen

The Effect Of Preventive Physical Exercises Supported By Collagen Supplements And Vitamin D In Improving Some Of The Physical And Skill Abilities Of Handball Players
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this paper is to preparing preventive exercises supported by collagen supplements and vitamin D for handball players, and identify the effect of preventive physical exercises supported by collagen supplements and vitamin D on some physical and skill abilities of handball players. The researchers used the experimental method and designed two groups, one experimental and the other control, with both pre- and post-tests, to suit the nature of the research. The research community was selected from handball players (specialized school players), numbering (14), and they were divided into two groups, each group numbering (7) players. One of the most important results reached by the researcher is that: The exercises prepared by the r

Background: In December 2019, an episode of COVID-19 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV2) was reported in Wuhan, China and has spread around the world, increasing the number of contagions. Cytomegalovirus (CMV) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) are common herpesviruses that can cause persistent latent infections and affect the developing immune system. The study was conducted to explore the prevalence and reactivation of CMV and EBV antibodies in COVID-19 patients group in comparison to healthy group and to investigate the association between the presence of these viruses with each of severity of disease and oral hygiene. Materials and Methods: Eighty Five subjects were participated in this case control study (5

Diagnosis of Diabetes Using Artificial Intelligence Programs
...Show More Authors

Scientific development has occupied a prominent place in the field of diagnosis, far from traditional procedures. Scientific progress and the development of cities have imposed diseases that have spread due to this development, perhaps the most prominent of which is diabetes for accurate diagnosis without examining blood samples and using image analysis by comparing two images of the affected person for no less than a period. Less than ten years ago they used artificial intelligence programs to analyze and prove the validity of this study by collecting samples of infected people and healthy people using one of the Python program libraries, which is (Open-CV) specialized in measuring changes to the human face, through which we can infer the

Potential Influence of Parasitic Diseases as Protective Agents from Infection with Pandemic COVID-19
...Show More Authors

Parasitic diseases can affect infection with COVID-19 obviously, as protective agents, or by reducing severity of this viral infection. This current review mentions the common symptoms between human parasites and symptoms of COVID-19, and explains the mechanism actions of parasites, which may prevent or reduce severity of this viral infection. Pre-existing parasitic infections provide prohibition against pathogenicity of COVID-19, by altering the balance of gut microbiota that can vary the immune response to this virus infection.
