الوصف The synthesis of 2 (N-phenyl dithio carboxamid) benzothiazol Ligand (L) from reaction of 2-Mercaptobenzothiozol with phenylisothiocyanate using ratio 1: 1. The ligand was characterized by elemental analysis (CHN),'H-NMR, IR and UV-Vis. The complexes with bivalent ions (Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg) have been prepared and characterized. The structural diagnosis was established using IR, UV–Visible spectro photometer, molar conductivity, atomic absorption and molar ratio with selected metal ions (Ni2+, Cu2+). The complexes of (Ni, Cu) gave octahedral structural while the complexes of (Zn, Cd, Hg) gave tetrahedral structural. The study of biological activity of the ligand (L) and its complexes (Ni, Cu, Hg) in two deferent concentration (1and5) mg/ml with staphylococcus aureus and E-coli. The results showed deference effect towards positive in two concentration (1and5) mg/ml. while the effect towards negative showed variety effect except Hg-complex didn’t show effect in 1mg/ml but in 5mg/ml the ligand and complexes did show effect except Hg-complex showed effect 5 mm
Four electrodes were synthesized based on molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). Two MIPs were prepared by using the diclofenac sodium (DFS) as the template, 2-hydroxy ethyl metha acrylate(2-HEMA) and 2-vinyl pyridine(2-VP) as monomers as well as divinyl benzene and benzoyl peroxide as cross linker and initiator respectively. The same composition used for prepared non-imprinted polymers (NIPs) but without the template (diclofenac sodium). To prepared the membranes electrodes used different plasticizers in PVC matrix such as: tris(2-ethyl hexyl) phosphate (TEHP), tri butyl phosphate (TBP), bis(2-ethyl hexyl) adipate (BEHA) and tritolyl phosphate (TTP). The characteristics studied the slop, detection limit, life time and linearity range of DF

Abstract The Synthesis in good yields of some new 1,8-Naphthyridine derivatives (1-9) and characterized on the basis of IR and 1H NMR spectra data. The compounds (1) and (6) were utilized as a starting material for the preparing of these compounds.
In recent years , the interest in gold (III) species have gained more and more attention for cancer chemotherapy , this was stimulating by the possibility to develop new agents with mode of action and clinical profile different from the established platinum metalodrugs.
With this frame, recently new square planar Au(III) complexes (Au(L)(L')n); where L=SCH2COO- ; L'=HSCH2COO- had been synthesized with S/O – donor ligands.
In this article and by the aim to replace, one of (L') ligand by anion chloride ligand (which supposedly more relevant for the biodistribution of the compound than for its pharmacodynamic effects), new complex (Au(L')
The aim of this work covers the synthesis and characterization of the new tertra dentate ligand (H4L) containing (N and O) as donor set atoms kind (N2O2) where: H4L=Bis-1,2 (2,4- dihydroxybenzylediene phylinediamine . The preparation of ligand contains reaction 2, 4 - Dihydroxy benzaldehyde and o-phenylene diamine . Schiff base was reacted with some metal ions in the presence of methanol to give the complexes in the general formula [M (H2L)] where: MII = Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd. All compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods I.R , U.V.-Vis, metal content and molar conductivity measurements, showed that the complexes are non-electrolyte. The proposed geometry for all of the proposed complexes was a tetrahedral while Ni complex was squa

... Show MoreFe, Co and Sb nanopowders were fruitfully prepared by electrical wire explosion method in Double distilled and de-ionized water (DDDW) media. The formation of iron, cobalt and antimony (FeCoSb) alloy nanopowder was monitored by X-ray diffraction. The x-ray diffraction pattern indicates that there are iron, cobalt and antimony peaks. Optical properties of this alloy nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Visible absorption spectra. The absorption peak position is shifted to the lower wavelengths when the current increases. That means the mean size of the nanoparticles controlled by changing the magnitude of the current. The surface morphological analysis is carried out by employing Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). ... Show MoreGlassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified with carbon nanotubes CNT and C60 by attachment and solution evaporation techniques, respectively. CNT/Li+/GCE and C60/Li+/GCE were prepared by modifying CNT/GCE and C60/GCE in Li+ solution via cyclic voltammetry (CV) potential cycling. The sensing characteristics of the modified film electrodes, demonstrated in this study for interference of Mn2+ in different heavy metals ion esp. Hg2+, Cd2+ and Cu2+. The interfering effect was investigated that exert positive interference on the redox peaks of Mn2+. The modification of GCE with nano materials and Li+ act an enhancement for the redox current peaks to observe the effect of interference for Mn2+ in 1:1 ratio with different heavy metals ion.
Inthis study new derivatives of Schiff bases and nucleoside analogues have been synthesized from the starting material D-glucose after a series of reactions. Derivative 1 was prepared from D-glucose then react with P-bromoacetophenone gave derivative 2 was reacted with dimethyl sulfoxide and acetic anhydride for dehydration a molecule of water gave 3. The spiro ring was prepared at 3-position from the reaction of 3 derivative with 1-phenyl-2–thioureagave 4. The protection group at 1 position was removed by using acetic acid fllowed by periodate oxidation to obtain 6. Reaction of 6 with hydrazide derivative at once and dtriazole derivative at another gave 8 and 9 respectively. Compound 6 was reduced to gave derivative 7. The 1-hydroxylgrou
