Public Relations Employment of Foreign Oil Corporate Social Responsibility Programs Operating in Iraq Analytical Study of Programs from 1/1/2013 to 31/12/2021
...Show More Authors

This research addresses the employment of public relations for foreign oil corporate social responsibility programs operating in Iraq. It is a study of the programmes of six petroleum companies operating in Basra Governorate, which were selected for research as the highest production of Iraqi oil, as well as its enjoyment of strategic oil stores in Iraq.It contains the largest oil fields operatedby major international companies. This study aims at a number of objectives, notably the following:1)Recognize the most prominent corporate social responsibility projects and initiatives the companies have introduced to the local public.2)Investigate the extent to which the Iraqi public benefits from foreign companies' social responsibility programmes and their contribution to improving the standard of living and service of residents of nearby areas and society as a whole. This research is classified as descriptive research. The survey curriculum has been used to analyze the six companies' social responsibility programs since the start of social benefit projects in 2013 to 2021. The research results include: The educational fieldis ranked first, while the service and infrastructure field is ranked second, and the Italian company Eni has the highest percentage in the achievement of social benefit projects followed by Kuwait Energy, as well as foreign oil companies meet the basic needs of the local public

Synthesis and Spectroscopic Studies of new ligand N-((4-(phenylamino)phenyl)carbamothioyl)acetamide with some Divalent Metal Ion Complexes
...Show More Authors

A new ligand N-((4-(phenylamino) phenyl) carbamothioyl) acetamide (PCA) was synthesized by reaction of (4-amino di phenyl amine) with (acetyl isothiocyante) by using acetone as a solvent. The prepared ligand(PCA) has been characterization by elemental analysis (CHNS), infrared(FT-IR),electronic spectral (UV-Vis)&1H,13C- NMR spectra. Some Divalent Metal ion complexes of ligand (PCA) were prepared and spectroscopic studies by infrared(FT-IR), electronic spectral (UV-Vis), molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. The results measured showed the formula ofFall prepared complexes were [M (PCA)2 Cl2] (M+2 = Mn, Co, Ni, CU, Zn, Cd &Hg),the proposed geometrical structure for all complexes wereeoctahedral.

Detection of Methamphetamine using Nanobentonite as a Novel Solid Phase Extraction Column Matrix Assisted with Gas Chromatography- Mass Spectroscopy
...Show More Authors

This study was done to evaluate a new technique to determine the presence of methamphetamine in the hair using nano bentonite-based adsorbent as the filler of extraction column. The state of the art of this study was based on the presence of silica in the nano bentonite that was assumed can interact with methamphetamine. The hair used was treated using methanol to extract the presence of methamphetamine, then it was continued by sonicating the hair sample. Qualitative analysis using Marquish reagent was performed to confirm the presence of methamphetamine in the isolate. The hair sample that has been taken in a different period confirmed that this current developing method can be used to analyzed methamphetamine. The ligand 2-Hydroxy-N-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-acetamide(L) has been prepared from reaction of 2-(aminomethyl)pyridin with chloroacetic acid (1:1).It has been characterized by elemental analysis (C,H,N) ,'H, 13 C-NMR, IR and electronic spectra. The complexes of divalent (Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Cd and Hg) ions and trivalent(Cr) ion have been synthesized and characterized by IR, electronic spectra, molar conductivity, atomic absorption and molar ratio (Ni 2+) complex. The analytical studies for the complexes show; octahedral for (Cr 3+),square planar for (Cu 2+) and (Co,Ni Zn, Cd and Hg) tetrahedral geometries. The study of biological activity of the ligand (L) and its complexes (Co,Ni,Cu,Cd,Hg) in two deferent concentration (1and5) mg/ml showed various acti

A combined compact genetic algorithm and local search method for optimizing the ARMA(1,1) model of a likelihood estimator
...Show More Authors

In this paper, a compact genetic algorithm (CGA) is enhanced by integrating its selection strategy with a steepest descent algorithm (SDA) as a local search method to give I-CGA-SDA. This system is an attempt to avoid the large CPU time and computational complexity of the standard genetic algorithm. Here, CGA dramatically reduces the number of bits required to store the population and has a faster convergence. Consequently, this integrated system is used to optimize the maximum likelihood function lnL(φ1, θ1) of the mixed model. Simulation results based on MSE were compared with those obtained from the SDA and showed that the hybrid genetic algorithm (HGA) and I-CGA-SDA can give a good estimator of (φ1, θ1) for the ARMA(1,1) model. Estimating Angle of Arrival (AOA) for Wideband Signal by Sensor Delay Line (SDL) and Tapped Delay Line (TDL) Processors
...Show More Authors

Angle of arrival (AOA) estimation for wideband signal becomes more necessary for modern communication systems like Global System for Mobile (GSM), satellite, military applications and spread spectrum (frequency hopping and direct sequence). Most of the researchers are focusing on how to cancel the effects of signal bandwidth on AOA estimation performance by using a transversal filter (tap delay line) (TDL). Most of the researchers were using two elements array antenna to study these effects. In this research, a general case of proposed (M) array elements is used. A transversal filter (TDL) in phase adaptive array antenna system is used to calculate the optimum number of taps required to compensate these effect. The propo

Comparison of Some Methods for Estimating the Survival Function and Failure Rate for the Exponentiated Expanded Power Function Distribution
...Show More Authors

We have presented the distribution of the exponentiated expanded power function (EEPF) with four parameters, where this distribution was created by the exponentiated expanded method created by the scientist Gupta to expand the exponential distribution by adding a new shape parameter to the cumulative function of the distribution, resulting in a new distribution, and this method is characterized by obtaining a distribution that belongs for the exponential family. We also obtained a function of survival rate and failure rate for this distribution, where some mathematical properties were derived, then we used the method of maximum likelihood (ML) and method least squares developed  (LSD) to estimate the parameters an

Literary translation is one of the most difficult types of translation ,because it conveys feelings that differ from one person to another, and since the language constitutes an obstacle to understanding the Andalusian excerpts, the translators resorted to translating it, and this was a second start to the text, different from its first start, is said from the tongue of the Al-washah , The muwashshah is a poetic art that appeared in Andalusia after the Arabs entered it ,characterized by special system It differs from the traditional Arabic poem, as it has a beginning represented in the beginning of the muwashshah and several equal parts ending with differentrhymes.

Development of a Compact Wide-Slot Antenna for Early Stage Breast Cancer Detection Featuring Circular Array Full-View Geometry
...Show More Authors

A novel planar type antenna printed on a high permittivity Rogers’ substrate is proposed for early stage microwave breast cancer detection. The design is based on a p-shaped wide-slot structure with microstrip feeding circuit to eliminate losses of transmission. The design parameters are optimized resulting in a good reflection coefficient at −10 dB from 4.5 to 10.9 GHz. Imaging result using inhomogeneous breast phantom indicates that the proposed antenna is capable of detecting a 5 mm size cancerous tumor embedded inside the fibroglandular region with dielectric contrast between the target and the surrounding materials ranging from 1.7 : 1 to 3.6 : 1.
