    Soft clays are generally characterized by low shear strength, low permeability and high compressibility. The effect of adding Zinc Sulphate and Carboxymethyl Cellulose to study their influence on the corrosion of carbon steel in Bentonite mud has been evaluated using Weight Loss Technique.
