Within a male society in which the man imposed his control with strict provisions, the material and civil rights of women were lost and turned into a means and a tool to be to be exchanged according to the map of male interests, between a minor girl who is forced to marry under the saying (Kisma)* and another confiscates her freedom to choose her life partner and she is forced to marry her cousin under the saying (Al-Nahwa)* , and another is forcing her to stop her social life and cancel her feelings if her husband dies under the saying (loyalty to the husband after his death) and other sayings that tightened the noose on women in all their forms.

The micronucleated erythrocytes in fish was used to detect water pollution by genotoxic agents. Fish belonging to different species were collected from three regions from Baghdad during three months (December/2000,January and February/2001 ).The micronucleated erythrocytes was observed in all the specimens. In this research, the region in the south-west of Iraq is classified using a fuzzy inference system to estimate its desertification degree. Three land cover indices are used which are the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, Normalized Multi-Band Drought Index and the top of atmosphere surface temperature to build a fuzzy decision about the desertification degree using eight decision roles. The study covers a temporal period of 38 years, where about every 10 years a sample is elected to verify the desertification status of the region, starting from 1990 to 2018. The results show that the desertification status varied every 10 years, wherein 2000 encountered the highest desertification in the south-west of Iraq.
