New ligand of N-(pyrimidin-2-yl carbamothioyl)acetamide was synthesized and its complexes with (VO(II), Mn (II), Cu (II), Zn (II), Cd (II) and Hg (II) are formed with confirmation of their structures on the bases of spectroscopic analyses. Antimicrobial activity of new complexes are studied against Gram positive S. aureus and Gram negative E. coli, Proteus, Pseudomonas. The octahedral geometrical structures are proved depending on the outcomes from the preceding procedures
In this rescrch, new mixed ligand Schiff base complexes of Mn(II),Co(II),Ni(II),Cu(II), Cd(II), and Hg(II) are formulated from the Schiff base( L)resulting from o-phathalaldehyde(o-PA) with p-nitroaniline(p-NA)as a primary ligand and anthranilic acid as a subordinate ligand. Diagnosis of prepared Ligand and its complexes is done by spectral methods mass spectrometer;1H -NMR for ligand Schiff base FTIR, UV-Vis, molar conductance, elemental microanalyses, atomic absoption and magnetic susceptibility. The analytical studies for the all new complexes have shown octahedral geometries. The study of organicperformance of ligand Schiff base and its complexes show various activity agansit four type of bactria two gram (+) and two gram (-) .
The reaction oisolated and characterized by elemental analysis (C,H,N) , 1H-NMR, mass spectra and Fourier transform (Ft-IR). The reaction of the (L-AZD) with: [VO(II), Cr(III), Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II)], has been investigated and was isolated as tri nuclear cluster and characterized by: Ft-IR, U. v- Visible, electrical conductivity, magnetic susceptibilities at 25 Co, atomic absorption and molar ratio. Spectroscopic evidence showed that the binding of metal ions were through azide and carbonyl moieties resulting in a six- coordinating metal ions in [Cr (III), Mn (II), Co (II) and Ni (II)]. The Vo (II), Cu (II), Zn (II), Cd (II) and Hg (II) were coordinated through azide group only forming square pyramidal

In benzene and refluxing conditions,Schiff's bases were cyclized with succinic and Phthalic anhydride to give a new sequence of 1,3-oxazepine derivatives(4-6) and (7-9),respectively.The last step, cyclization reactions with sodium azide in THF solvent resulted in the formation of [10 and 11], which are supposed to be biologically significant.FT.IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR (for compound 4,7,9, and 11),as well as melting points reported, were used to characterize these prepared compounds ,Bacillus (G+), Staphylococcus (G+), and E.Coli (G-)were screened against these compounds. . Show MoreABSTRACT : This research involves the synthesis of five to seven heterocyclic compounds starting with Schiff’s bases which derived from oxime as a starting material. 1.3-oxazepine derivatives were prepared from adding different anhydrides to the Schiff bases, tetrazole and thiazolidinone derivatives synthesized from add sodium azide and thioglycolic acid to the same Schiff’s bases as a five members ring. Pyrimidine derivatives were prepared after the reaction of the azomethine group with acetyl chloride and then urea and thiourea to synthesis on derivatives contain the six members ring. Another step included identified and confirmed these compounds by FT- IR, 1HNMR, TLC and 13CNMR finally, step included the assay of biological activity

In the present study NiPcTs, CdS thin films, and Blends of NiPcTs:CdS were prepared with 1:2 content mixing ratio of NiPcTs to CdS solutions. Cadmium chloride and thiourea were used as the essential materials for deposition CdS thin films while using organic powder of NiPcTs to deposit NiPcTs nanostructure films. The spin-coating technique was employed to fabricate the NiPcTs , CdS films and NiPcTs-CdS blend. Structural properties of films have been investigated via X-Ray diffraction(XRD),and show that thin films of NiPcTs, and CdS have monoclinic and polycrystalline hexagonal structure respectively while the blend has two polycrystalline structure with cubic and hexagonal phases. Atomic force microscope (AFM) confirmed that the surf
