SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERISATION OF NEWCo(II), Zn(II) AND Cd(II) COMPLEXES DERIVED FROM OXADIAZOLE LIGAND AND 1,10-PHENANTHROLINE AS Co-LIGAND
N, N′- bis[4-hydroxy phenyl] pyromillitdiimide [II] was prepared from the corresponding diamic acid , which was transfered to its new ester by the reaction with chloroethyl acetate [III ], [III] was used to prepare the novel hydrazide derivative [IV] , which was allowed to react with several aldehydes to yield the hydrazones [V – IX]. All the new compounds were synthesized , and characterized by their melting points .HNMR for some of them1FTIR,C,H,N analysis and ,
A new series of cyclic coumarin-fluorocytosine hybrid conjugates (N1-N6) was synthesized through microwave technology. The synthetic plan involved the formation of the required Schiff base N, followed by the transformation of the azomethine functional group of the Schiff base N to oxazepine and imidazolidone rings. The antimicrobial activity of the synthesized compounds N-N6 was assessed against Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis) and Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas, and Klebsiella) using the disk diffusion method. Compounds N4 and N5 showed the highest activity against S. aureus (24 mm inhibition), with N5 also demonstrating superior inhibition against Klebsiella and P
... Show MoreIn this paper, two new simple, fast and efficient block matching algorithms are introduced, both methods begins blocks matching process from the image center block and moves across the blocks toward image boundaries. With each block, its motion vector is initialized using linear prediction that depending on the motion vectors of its neighbor blocks that are already scanned and their motion vectors are assessed. Also, a hybrid mechanism is introduced, it depends on mixing the proposed two predictive mechanisms with Exhaustive Search (ES) mechanism in order to gain matching accuracy near or similar to ES but with Search Time ST less than 80% of the ES. Also, it offers more control capability to reduce the search errors. The experimental tests

The aim of this paper is to investigate the effects of Nd:YAG laser shock processing (LSP) on micro-hardness and surface roughness of 86400Cu-Zn alloy. X-ray fluorescence technique was used to analyze the chemical composition of this alloy. LSP treatment was performed with a Q-switched Nd: YAG laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm. The results show that laser shock processing can significantly increase. The micro-hardness and surface roughness of the LSP-treated sample. Vickers diamond indenter was used to measure the micro-hardness of all samples with different laser pulse energy and the different number of laser pulses. It is found that the metal hardness can be significantly increased to more than 80% by increasing the laser energy and t
... Show MoreA field experiment was carried out during the seasons 2016 and 2017 in the farm of the Department of Field Crops Science, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences-University of Baghdad to evaluate the effect of(Aminopyralid + Flurasulam, Coldinafop-propargyl and Flucarbazone-sodium) herbicides and seeding rate (100, 125 and 150) Kg.ha-1 and the interaction between them in growth characteristics, grain and yield components in wheat (Var. IPA99). The results showed that herbicides used were significantly efficient in studied characteristics compared to weedy treatment. Herbicide Flucarbazone-sodium gave higher weed control after 60 and 90 days of spraying the he
