Experimental densities, viscosities η, and refractive indices n_D data of the ternary  ethanol+ n-hexane + 3-methyl pentane system have been determined at temperatures 293.15,303.15 and 313.15 K and at atmospheric pressure then these properties were calculated theoretically by using mixing rules for densities, viscosities and refractive indices .After that the theoretical data and the experimental data were compared due to the high relative errors in viscosities an equation of viscosity was proposed to decrease the relative errors.

Choosing antimicrobials is a common dilemma when the expected rate of bacterial resistance is high. The observed resistance values in unequal groups of isolates tested for different antimicrobials can be misleading. This can affect the decision to recommend one antibiotic over the other. We analyzed recalled data with the statistical consideration of unequal sample groups. Data was collected concerning children suspected to have typhoid fever at Al Alwyia Pediatric Teaching Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq. The study period extended from September 2021 to September 2022. Ultraviolet spectrophotometric studies for antibiotic (amino glycoside) derivatives including, Neomycin, Streptomycin, Gentamycin and Kanamycin with special reagents, which are benzoyl chloride; benzene sulfonyl chloride, toluenesulfonyl chloride and phthalic anhydride were made.
