The aim of the research is to shed light on the stages of developing the Iraqi virtual science Library(IVSL) project, and to define its distinctive role in providing all kinds of electronic resources to researchers from professors and graduate students, to identify its contents , the entry interfaces and applications of use, and provide them through electronic portals to publishing houses, research institutions and international universities, The research sample included the teaching staff and researchers participating in educational qualification courses at the Continuing Education Center at the University of Baghdad, The research population and its sample consisted of the category of (IVSL) users, and its sample (387) users. Analysis methods: The research analysis and compare differences set by using SPSS software (3rd version). A set of methods were used percentage, Likert, Chi square and T.test for weights.
A total of 258 voluntary blood donors (males 101; females 157) in the age range of 18-52 yr among males and 18-55 yr among females were examined for Toxoplasma gondii antibodies (IgG), and (IgM) by immunological technique (Enzyme linked Immunosorbant Assay) during the period from March 2009 to April 2010. This study covered a wide range of factors including immunological, age ,sex , place of residence and symptoms that may have a possible relationship with toxoplasmosis. The present study aimed to examine the concordance between FISH/CISH techniques for assessment of amplification of her2neu gene in Iraqi breast carcinoma patients. Seventy four (74) Iraqi breast cancer patients were involved at the study from the Histopathology Department at the Central Public Health Laboratory in Bagdad, Iraq. A case-control study was designed to find out the association between rs2234671 polymorphism of cxcr1 and rUTI in a sample of Iraqi women by polymerase chain reaction- sequence-specific primer (PCR-SSP) method. The current findings revealed that the genotype GC (OR= 7.86, 95% CI = 2.82-21.87, P= 7.7 × 10-5) and the C allele (OR= 3.93, 95% CI = 1.97 - 7.83, P = 9.8×10-5) are significantly associated with rUTI. However, the genotype GG played as a protective factor (OR= 0.12, 95% CI = 10.05 - 0.34, P = 4.0 ×10-5). Depending on these findings, the genotype GC is significantly associated with rUTI.

From a large number of bacterial samples collected from different hospital in Iraq in central health laboratory ,only ten isolates were identified primary as Vibrio.
