The research includes the preparation of several complexes of the internal transition elements lanthanide (Ln = La, Nd, Er, Gd, and Dy) containing the 4f shell, with Schiff bases resulting from condensation reactions between 4-antipyrinecarboxaldehyde and 2-aminobenzothiazoles. Schiff's base was identified using FTIR spectra, UV-vis spectroscopy, elemental microanalysis CHNSO, nuclear magnetic resonance, mass spectrometry, and TGA thermal analysis. The complexes were studied and identified with elemental microanalysis CHNSO, FTIR spectroscopy, UV-vis spectroscopy, TGA thermal analysis, conductivity measurement, and magnetic sensitivity. The result showed that these complexes were classified as homogeneous bidentate complexes with the general formula of [Ln2(L)2(NO3)6]·6H2O. The physical measurements indicated that the prepared complexes are non-electrolyte and paramagnetic. Some compounds prepared in vitro were evaluated for their antibacterial activity against four types of pathogenic strains Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella pneumonia, and using the agar disc spreading method for the evaluation. The results showed that some of these complexes have good antibacterial activity compared to the biological activity of the ligand. Also, the biological activity of Schiff's base and the prepared complexes were evaluated against three types of fungi (Candida albicans, Tropical fungi, and Scandal fungi), and they showed great activity against the prepared complexes.

In the present study, results

The second step includes the reaction of prepared amic acids with acetic anhydride and anhydrous sodium acetate with heating in THF as a solvent to give cyclic imide compounds. These compounds are identified by melting points, FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and biological activity
A New ligand, N-(2-oxo-1,2- Dihydropyrimidin-4- ylcarbamothioyl) Acetamide (DPA) was prepared by reaction of iso thiosyanate derivative with Cytosine. The ligand has been characterized through elemental analysis, H1 NMR, C13NMR, FT-IR, and UV Visible spectra, such ligand’s transition metal complexes have been characterized through conductivity measurement, FT-IR, UV Visible spectra and magnetic susceptibility, all the complexes of this ligand are solid crystal and molar ratio (2:1) (ligand: metal). The form of molecular for these complexes octa hedral. The general formula [M(DPA)2Cl2], where M+2 = (Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd, Hg).

These methods based on oxidative coupling reaction between doxycycline hyclate and 3-methylbenzothiazolinone-2-hydrazone hydrochloride (MBTH) in the presence ammonium ceric sulfate in acidic medium, to form green water-soluble dye that is stable and has a maximum absorbance at 626 nm. A calibration graph shows that a Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range of 1-80 and 0.5-110 ?g.mL-1 of DCH for the batch and rFIA respectively with detection limit of 0.325 ?g.mL-1 of DCH for r-FIA methods. Show MoreDiamond-like carbon, amorphous hydrogenated films forms of carbon, were pretreated from cyclohexane (C6H12) liquid using plasma jet which operates with alternating voltage 7.5kv and frequency 28kHz. The plasma Separates molecules of cyclohexane and Transform it into carbon nanoparticles. The effect of argon flow rate (0.5, 1 and 1.5 L/min) on the optical and chemical bonding properties of the films were investigated. These films were characterized by UV-Visible spectrophotometer, X-ray diffractometer (XRD) Raman spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The main absorption appears around 296, 299 and 309nm at the three flow rate of argon gas. The value of the optical energy gap is 3.37, 3.55 and 3.68 eV at a different flow rate o

The films were prepared using a solution casting method and characterized using UV-visible spectroscopy, optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and tensile tests. The prepared PVA/MWCNT nanocomposite films exhibited optical band gap values ranging from 3.5 eV to 5.3 eV. XRD analysis confirmed the semi-crystalline nature of these nanocomposites. Mechanical properties, including hardness, yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and Young's modulus, were enhanced by increasing MWCNT content by up to 8%. Contact angle measurements showed an increase in hydrophobicity with in

These N-acyl hydrazones were prepared by the reaction of 3-(1H-indol-3-yl) propane hydrazide and aldehyde in the existence of glacial acetic acid as a catalyst. 1HNMR and FT-IR analyses were used to identify the synthesized compounds and they were in vitro evaluated as antibacterial agents against six different types of microorganisms by using well diffusion method. All the tested N-acyl hydrazones (4a-g) displayed moderate activity against the Gram-negative E.coli, comparable to that of Amoxicillin. Some of the tested N-acyl hydrazones also exhibited intermediate activity ag
