One of the main parts in hydraulic system is directional control valve, which is needed in order to operate hydraulic actuator. Practically, a conventional directional control valve has complex construction and moving parts, such as spool. Alternatively, a proposed Magneto-rheological (MR) directional control valve can offer a better solution without any moving parts by means of MR fluid. MR fluid consists of stable suspension of micro-sized magnetic particles dispersed in carrier medium like hydrocarbon oil. The main objectives of this present research are to design a MR directional control valve using MR fluid, to analyse its magnetic circuit using FEMM software, and to study and simulate the performance of this valve. In this research, a comprehensive literature review on the advancement of this technology provides valuable insight on MR valve design by previous researchers. The design of MR directional control valve, the construction of the valve and the principle of work are presented. The design of proposed MR single valve has enabled the development of the MR directional control valve. Design and finite elements analysis using FEMM software of the MR single valve and MR directional control valve were done to obtain the optimal design. The valve was fabricated and the experimental rig for valve test was developed. The experiment presentation for functional working principle of the valve and valve performance were shown. The results of the simulation results show that the valve works in controlling the direction and the speed of hydraulic actuators. The valve can be operated with variable flow rate by varying the electric current. It is found that the electric current is inversely proportional to the flow rate. High current produces low flow rate and vice versa. It does the work of the valves to proportionally control the hydraulic actuators. The valve can be operated as ON-OFF directional control valve as well as proportional directional control valve with meter-in or meter-out by changing electric connection.
he aim of this study is to get a plant extracts to use it as molluscicides to control the snail vector of Schistosomiasis andfinely control the disease. Laboratory study was performed to compare the molluscicidal activity of leaves and stems extractsof Cucumis melo against Bulinus truncatus snail. The snail B. truncatus was exposed to a serial concentrations of leaves andstems extracts (4000ppm, 5000ppm) in this work. Different effects of the extracts to the snail B. truncatus were recorded. These effects includes death, escaping and imbalance of snail behavior. 96hr-LD50 values of leaves extracts were calculatedfor the doses 4000 and 5000ppm as (76 and 37%) respectively while for stems were (105 and 47%) respectively. We found thatthe snail

Then the definition of fuzzy compact operator from fuzzy normed space into another fuzzy normed space is introduced after that the proof of an operator is fuzzy compact if and only if the image of any fuzzy bounded sequence contains a convergent subsequence is given. At this point the basic properties of the vector space FC(V,U)of all fuzzy compact linear operators are investigated such as when U is complete and the sequence ( ) of fuzzy compact operators converges to an operator T then T must be fuzzy compact. Furthermore we see that when T is a fuzzy compact operator and S is a fuzzy bounded operator then the composition TS and ST are fuzzy compact

With an increasing level of development of unconventional reservoirs, many questions have arisen regarding enhancing production performance of tight carbonate reservoirs, especially the evaluation of the potential for adapting multistage hydraulic fracturing technology in tight carbonate reservoirs to attain an economic revenue.
In this paper we present a feasibility study of multistage fractured horizontal well in typical tight carbonate reservoirs covering different values of permeability. We show that NPV is the suitable objective function for deciding on the optimum number
This research deals with study of the effect of additives on rheological properties (yield point, plastic viscosity ,and apparent viscosity) of emulsions. Twenty seven emulsion samples were prepared; all emulsions in this investigation are invert emulsions when water droplets are dispersed in diesel oil. The resulting emulsions are called water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions. The rheological properties of these emulsions were investigated using a couett coaxial cylinder rotational viscometer (Fann-VG model 35 A), by measuring shear stress versus shear rate. It was found that the effect of additives on rheological properties of emulsions as follow: the increase in the concentration of asphaltic material tends to increase the rheological propertie

One of these slabs was the control specimen, whereas, in the others, steel angles (steel collars) were used, fixed at the connection region between the slab and the column to investigate the effect of the presence of these collars on punching shear strength. Five thicknesses were used (4, 5, 6, 8, 10mm) with constant legs of angles (75×75) mm of the steel collars to investigate the effects on the punching shear resistance with respect to the control slab. The results of the experimental study show that the punching shear resistance increased b

These methods were based on a diazotization and coupling reaction between Thymol and diazotized procaine HCl in alkaline medium to form an intense orange-red water-soluble dye that is stable and has a maximum absorption at 474 nm. A graphs of absorbance versus concentration show that Beer’s law is obeyed over the concentration range of 0.4-4.8 and 4-80 µg.ml-1 of Thymol, with detection limits of 0.072 and 1.807 µg.ml-1 of Thymol for batch and FIA methods respectively. The FIA procedure sample throughput was 80 h-1. All different chemical and physical e
