Summary
This study seeks to clarify the phenomena of polyphony, as Oswald Ducrot indicated that polyphony is an extension of linguistics, and worked to link it to vocalisation which contains vocable ends, which led Ducrot to a similar example between (speaker and vocable). He indicated that the speaker was responsible for the pronunciation In the speech, and its phenomena: dialectical denial, irony, and referral references, which came to highlight the pragmatics texts and then explain the phenomena of semantic blocks and examples in Naguib Mahfouz's novels and stories.

This study aims to document and describe the speech sounds and sound inventory that are present in Sorani which is dialect of Kurdish and compare the results with their English counterparts.  The research concentrates on the voicing system and the quality of Sorani sounds which are measured by using the voice onset time (VOT) of the stop consonants, and the first three formants of the vowel sounds; the closure duration of voiceless stop consonants in medial position is measured as well.

Ten native speakers of the Sorani dialect (5 males and 5 females) participated in this experiment. All speakers are between 20 and 50 years of age, were born in Sulaimanyiah, migrated to the US, and remain in the US at the time of recording.

This study aimed at identifying the effect of violence on speech disorders concerning Arab Broadcasting . Language is a pot of thought and a mirror of human civilization and communication tool, but the Arabic language is suffering a lot of extraneous terms them, particularly through the media. This study attempts to answer the following question: Is the phenomenon of linguistic duality in the Media reflected negatively on the rules of the classical language? The artistic signature of calligraphers has been regarded as a significant aspect of Arabic calligraphy since its inception. As the art form evolved and acquired an aesthetic dimension, the artistic signature became an integral part of this dimension. Metadiscourse markers are means for organizing a writer’s information and create a connection with her/his readers.
