AN IMPROVED AES ENCRYPTION OF AUDIO WAVE FILES
...Show More Authors

The main objective of this study is to get a secure broadcasting in real time applications for audio files (precisely the Wave type) and to increase the degree of complexity of the encrypt/decrypt arithmetic operations in the finite . field GF(28) on these files. This objective can be achieved by implementing different proposed architectures, methods and algorithms both in block and stream cipher structure to increase the degree of complexity. For high utilization of resources and fast execution time of operations in cryptographic processes in the proposed cryptographic algorithms, the parallel computing was implemented by using OpenMP directives. The AES Rijndael algorithm has been considered as a base for the developed algorithms in the block cipher systems. To increase the complexity degree of the encryption/decryption operations, the transformation functions, in AES Rijndael (SubByte, MixColumn and ShiftRows) are modified to the new functions (DK- SBOX-AES, 4K-MIX-AES and 5K-SHIFT-AES) respectively. The aforementioned proposed modified functions in addition to AddRoundKey formed the proposed improved AES algorithm. The high degree of complexity for the improved AES (256! * (2-16)! * 4! * 5!) compared to AES Rijndael (256!) has been obtained with little increase in the execution time. In this work, it is found that the OpenMP has the capability to reduce the costs of design / development and time to implement these systems, and to increase the programmer productivity. The execution of parallel programming leads, reducing the operating time to one half or less depends on the number of processors used, for both encryption/decryption processes for the proposed algorithms.

Text Encryption Based on DNA Cryptography, RNA, and Amino Acid
...Show More Authors

To achieve safe security to transfer data from the sender to receiver, cryptography is one way that is used for such purposes. However, to increase the level of data security, DNA as a new term was introduced to cryptography. The DNA can be easily used to store and transfer the data, and it becomes an effective procedure for such aims and used to implement the computation. A new cryptography system is proposed, consisting of two phases: the encryption phase and the decryption phase. The encryption phase includes six steps, starting by converting plaintext to their equivalent ASCII values and converting them to binary values. After that, the binary values are converted to DNA characters and then converted to their equivalent complementary DN

Modified PRESENT Encryption algorithm based on new 5D Chaotic system
...Show More Authors

Cryptography is a major concern in communication systems. IoE technology is a new trend of smart systems based on various constrained devices. Lightweight cryptographic algorithms are mainly solved the most security concern of constrained devices and IoE systems. On the other hand, most lightweight algorithms are suffering from the trade-off between complexity and performance. Moreover, the strength of the cryptosystems, including the speed of the algorithm and the complexity of the system against the cryptanalysis. A chaotic system is based on nonlinear dynamic equations that are sensitive to initial conditions and produce high randomness which is a good choice for cryptosystems. In this work, we proposed a new five-dimensional of a chaoti

Hiding Techniques for Dynamic Encryption Text based on Corner Point
...Show More Authors

Hiding technique for dynamic encryption text using encoding table and symmetric encryption method (AES algorithm) is presented in this paper. The encoding table is generated dynamically from MSB of the cover image points that used as the first phase of encryption. The Harris corner point algorithm is applied on cover image to generate the corner points which are used to generate dynamic AES key to second phase of text encryption. The embedded process in the LSB for the image pixels except the Harris corner points for more robust. Experimental results have demonstrated that the proposed scheme have embedding quality, error-free text recovery, and high value in PSNR.

Designing a New Text Encryption Approach Based on Genetic Algorithm
...Show More Authors

Today, data security is a major problem concerning organizations and indi- viduals. The confidentiality of information is associated with using reliable and robust encryption algorithms in systems. Cyber-attacks on data and systems have become prevalent and sophisticated, and are increasing rapidly; hence, the need for developing robust encryption algorithms is crucial nowadays. This paper proposes a new encryption algorithm using dynamic symmetric key cryptography to encrypt text files. It utilizes a secret key for encryption and decryption processes, where the key’s length is varied depending on the text size. This presented approach gives a trade-off between speed and security, making it suitable for various applications, such as secur

Analysis of Wave Propagation in Detection of Aorta Dieses Using Lumps Analysis
...Show More Authors

In this paper a theoretical attempt is made to determine whether changes in the aorta diameter at different location along the aorta can be detected by brachial artery measurement.  The aorta is divided into six main parts, each part with 4 lumps of 0.018m length. It is assumed that a desired section of the aorta has a radius change of 100,200, 500%. The results show that there is a significant change for part 2 (lumps 5-8) from the other parts. This indicates that the nearest position to the artery gives the significant change in the artery wave pressure while other parts of the aorta have a small effect.

Oxidation Desulphurization of Heavy Naphtha Improved by Ultrasound Waves
...Show More Authors

The oxidation desulphurization assisted by ultrasound waves was applied to the desulphurization of heavy naphtha. Hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid were used as oxidants, ultrasound waves as phase dispersion, and activated carbon as solid adsorbent. When the oxidation desulphurization (ODS) process was followed by a solid adsorption step, the performance of overall Sulphur removal was 89% for heavy naphtha at the normal condition of pressure and temperature. The process of (ODS) converts the compounds of Sulphur to sulfoxides/ sulfones, and these oxidizing compounds can be removed by activated carbon to produce fuel with low Sulphur content. The absence of any components (hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, ultrasound waves and activated car

Preparation of Posaconazole Nanosponges for Improved Topical Delivery System
...Show More Authors

The objective of the current research was to develop the posaconazole (PCZ) loaded NS into the carbopol 934 polymeric gel for prolonged drug release and improved topical delivery; seven different nanosponge formulations of PCZ were formulated using the emulsion solvent diffusion method using various amounts of polymer (ethylcellulose, EC). The aqueous and dispersed phases were prepared using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and dichloromethane. The prepared nanosponges (NS) were studied for particle size, structural appearance, and in vitro drug release. Furthermore, the selected formula was formulated as hydrogel and was evaluated for physical characteristics, drug content, and in-vitro drug release. Morphological studies revealed irregular

Compressional wave velocity of hydrate-bearing bentheimer sediments with varying pore fillings
...Show More Authors

A potential alternative energy resource to meet energy demands is the vast amount of gas stored in hydrate reserves. However, major challenges in terms of exploration and production surround profitable and effective exploitation of these reserves. The measurement of acoustic velocity is a useful method for exploration of gas hydrate reserves and can be an efficient method to characterize the hydrate-bearing sediments. In this study, the compressional wave velocity (P-wave velocity) of consolidated sediments (Bentheimer) with and without tetrahydrofuran hydrate-bearing pore fillings were measured using the pulse transmission method. The study has found that the P-wave velocity of consolidated sediments increase with increasing hydrate format
