The Effect of Exercises According to the Ranges of Arm Movement and Their Effect on Muscle Strength, and Some Biomechanical Variables, and Javelin Throwing Achievement for Young People
...Show More Authors

This present study is aimed at deciding the impact of exercises adapted to the ranges of movements of the arm on the performance of javelin throwing. As long as javelin throwing is quite a complex athletic event that presupposes a considerable amount of strength, speed, and biomechanical accuracy, it is crucial to learn whether the exercises designed to target the peculiarities of arm movements can have a positive effect on the performance of javelin throwers. To the study, experimental research with a single group of six youth javelin throwers was carried out. Before and after the eight-week training program, the pre-tests and post-tests were conducted to find the results of training with a specific focus on resistance exercises. Significa

Development and Validation of Spectrophotometric Methods for the Quantitative Determination of Doxycycline Hyclate in Pure Form and Pharmaceutical Formulations Using Flow‐Injection and Batch procedures: A Comparative Study
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>Doxycycline hyclate is an antibiotic drug with a broad‐spectrum activity against a variety of gram‐positive and gram‐negative bacteria and is frequently used as a pharmacological agent and as an effector molecule in an inducible gene expression system. A sensitive, reliable and fast spectrophotometric method for the determination of doxycycline hyclate in pure and pharmaceutical formulations has been developed using flow injection analysis (FIA) and batch procedures. The proposed method is based on the reaction between the chromogenic reagent (V4+) and doxycycline hyclate in a neutral medium, resulting in the formation of a yellow compound that shows maximum absorbance at 3</p> ... Comparing the clinical efficacy and safety of high doses of beclomethasone inhaler with medium doses of beclomethasone inhaler combined with oral aminophylline or montelukast tablets in persistent asthmatic Iraqi patients.
...Show More Authors

Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways in which many cells and cellular elements play a role. The treatment guidelines recommend theuse of a second controller drug in addition to medium doses of inhaled corticosteroids (ICSs) rather than the use of high doses ICS alone in the treatment of moderate-severe persistent asthma. This study was conducted to compare the clinical efficacy and safety of three treatment regimens in Iraqi patients with moderate-severe persistent asthma. The study included three groups; each group included 15 patients. Patients were administered beclomethasone inhaler alone 1500-2000 μg/day, beclomethasone inhaler 750-1000 μg/day plus oral controlled release aminophylline tablets 450 mg/day or

A Study of Apelin-36 and GST Levels with Their Relationship to Lipid and Other Biochemical Parameters in the Prediction of Heart Diseases in PCOS Women Patients
...Show More Authors

This work studies the role of serum apelin-36 and Glutathione S-transferases (GST) activity in association with the hormonal, metabolic profiles and their link to the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in healthy and patients' ladies with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). A total of fifty-four (PCOS) patients and thirty-one healthy woman as a control have been studied. The PCOS patients were subdivided on the basis of body-mass-index (BMI), into 2-subgroups (the first group was obese-PCOS with BMI ≥ 30 and the second group was non-obese PCOS MBI<30). Fasting-insulin-levels and Lipid-profile, Homeostatic-model assessment-of-insulin-resistance (HOMA-IR), follicle-stimulating-hormone (FSH), luteinizing-hormone (LH), testosterone and

Synthesis, Characterization and Antibacterial Evaluation of Mixed Ligand Complexes of 2-phenyl-2-(o-tolylamino) Acetonitrile and Histidine ligand with Co, Cu, Zn divalent Metal Ion Complexes
...Show More Authors

Anew mixed compound complexes derived from 2-phenyl-2-(o-tolylamino) Acetonitrile as primary ligand (L1) and histidine (L2) as secondary ligand have been prepared and characterized by conventional techniques, elemental microanalysis (C.H.N), Fourier transform infrared, ultra violet-visible spectra, , flame atomic absorption, molar conductivity, magnetic susceptibility measurement and 1H-NMR spectra. From IR data which appear chelating behavior of the amino acid ligand (L2) toward transition metal ions is via carboxylate oxygen, amino nitrogen and imidazol nitrogen as tridentate ligand while second ligand (L1) chelating through N-nitrile and N-aniline, according to all above technics the octahedral shapes were expected for these complexes as

The creation of such complexes was detected by employing spectroscopic means involving ultraviolet-visible which proved the obtained geometries, Fourier transfer proved the involvement of coordinated water molecule in all complexes besides the pyrolysis (TGA & DSC) studies proved the coordination of water residues with metal ions inside the coordination sphere as well as chlorine atoms. The effect of surgical approaches on the stability and marginal bone loss of early loaded slactive implants with screw retention mean: Comparative clinical and radiological prospective study
...Show More Authors

Purpose: This study aimed to compare the stability and marginal bone loss of implants inserted with flapped and flapless approaches 8 weeks after surgery and 3 months after loading. Material and Methods: Thirty SLActive implants were inserted in 11 patients and early loaded with final restoration 8 weeks after healing period. The stability values determined by Osstell and the marginal bone loss measured by CBCT at the initial time (1st) and 8 weeks of the healing period (2nd) and 3 months after loading (3rd). Results: The overall survival rate was 100%. A significant increase in the 3rd implant stability value in the age of ˂ 40. A significant decrease in the 2nd implant stability value in both gender and traumatic zone with a flapless app

Di Benzylidenes were prepared by condensation of 1,2-diamino benzene with o- hydroxy benzaldehyde. These dibenzylidenes when treated with one equivalent of malonic anhydride or 5-oxo-spiro[2,3]hexane-4,6-dione in dry benzene give 6-membered heterocyclic ring system of 3-{2-[(2-Hydroxy-benzylidene)-amino]-phenyl}-2-(2-hydroxy –phenyl)-[1,3]oxazinane-4,6-diones ( 1-3) or 7-{2-[(2-hydroxy-benzylidene)-amino]-phenyl}-6-(2-hydroxy-phenyl)-5-oxa-7-aza-spiro[2.5]octane-4,8-diones ( 7- 9 ) But when two equivalents of malonic anhydride or 5-oxo-spiro[2,3]hexane-4,6-dione were used and under sam conditions compounds (4-6 , 10-12 ) were obtained .
