Role of plant growth regulators in gene expression of SGR gene responsible for stay green of wheat varieties
...Show More Authors

A field experiment was carried out during winter season of 2019-2020 at Al-Mhanawyah Research Station - Agriculture Research Directorate - Babylon Governorate / Iraqi, to study the gene expression of Sgr gene responsible for controlling the duration of staying green in varieties of wheat under effect of plant growth regulator during the two growth stages (vegetative and reproductive) by using quantitative reverse transcription-PCR (RT-qPCR) technique and achieving the highest grain yield for a number of wheat varieties. Randomized complete block design (RCBD) arranged according to split plots used with three replicates. The experiment included twelve wheat varieties (Saberbic, Al-Rasheed, Iraq, Tamoz-3, Al-Adnaniya, Babel, IPA-99, Al-Latifeya, Al-Hashemia, Al-Naeema, Buhooth-10 and Al-Baraka) within main plots and nine treatments of plant growth regulator spraying (spraying of distilled water at tillering and anthesis stages, spraying of Abscisic acid (ABA) at tillering stage, spraying of ABA at anthesis stage, spraying of ABA acid at tillering and anthesis stages, spraying of kinetin at tillering stage, spraying of kinetin at anthesis stage, spraying of kinetin at tillering and anthesis stages, spraying of ABA at tillering stage + kinetin at anthesis stage and spraying of ABA at anthesis stage + spraying of kinetin at tillering stage) within sub plots. The results showed that ABA spraying caused a significant increase in the gene expression of Sgr gene, whereas the spraying of kinetin caused a significant decrease in gene expression. It was observed that the Saberbic variety gave the highest gene expression of Sgr gene (1.44). Al-Rasheed and Iraq varieties showed that the decrease in the vegetative growth period which accounted 65% of lives cycle compared with reproductive stage (35%). Also, It is observed that the spraying of ABA was decreased the number of days of the stage in which it is sprayed or after, while the spraying of kinetin was increased the number of days of the stage in which it is sprayed or after. Besides, the spraying of kinetin at tillering stage revealed a significant increase in the biological yield (11.68-ton ha-1), whereas the spraying of ABA at tillering stage + kinetin at anthesis stage had the highest mean of grain yield of (4.63-ton ha-1). Al-Rasheed variety gave the highest mean of grain yield (5.56-ton ha-1).

Artistic Features Of Re-Writing The Novel "On The Eve, on The Eve" By YevgueniBobov: As an Example: Жанровые Особенности Ремейка (На Материале Романа Е. Попова «Накануне Накануне»)
...Show More Authors

The paper tackles two topics. The first is about the term "Ремейк" which is very common in contemporary Russian literature; it has counterparts such as " Обработка" and " Переделка", where these two may indicate any of the following meanings (remake, reformulate, rewrite, treatment, modification, change). It has been shown that this term does not have a stable definition. Also, the role of this term in literary studies has been mentioned along with how it has come to its peak of use in post-modern literature.

The second is that I have taken a sample of well-known works in Russian literature " On the Eve, On the Eve " by the contemporary Russian writer YevgueniBobov, and shown the effort of the writer

Anticancer and immune effect of the extracted brown Raoultella planticola pigment on murine mammary adenocarcinoma (AMN3)
...Show More Authors

Background: Raoultella planticola is a developing pathogen that can infect both humans and animals. Raoultella spp. commonly colonize the gastrointestinal and upper respiratory systems. It usually causes pneumonia, bile tract infections, and bacteremia. Aim: In this study, the anticancer activity of an isolated brown pigment of a Raoultella planticola isolate was tested in vitro. Methods: The laboratory examination included culturing in brain-heart infusion broth, conducting biochemical tests, using the automatic VITEK2 Compact for bacterial isolate identification, performing the MTT assay to evaluate the cytotoxic effect on both the mammary cancer cell line (AMN3) and normal rat fibroblast (REF), and utilizing enzyme-linked i

The new 4-[(7-chloro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole)azo]-4,5-diphenyl imidazole (L) have been synthesized and characterized by micro elemental and thermal analyses as well as 1H.NMR, FT-IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopic techniques. (L) acts as a ligand coordinating with some metal ionsV(IV), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II). Structures of the new compounds were characterized by elemental and thermal analyses as well as FT-IR and UV-Vis Spectra. The magnetic properties and electrical conductivities of metal complexes were also determined. Study of the nature of the complexes formed in ethanol following the mole ratio method.. The study examines Julia Alvarez's role as a Dominican American author, poet, and essayist. Despite being born in New York City in 1950, she was raised in the Dominican Republic by a family with Dominican heritage. Her residence in her ancestral homeland significantly influenced her subsequent literary works. Upon her father's implication in a conspiracy against Dominican President, he departed from the Dominican Republic. Alvarez encountered the challenge of the English language. They were compelled to acquire proficiency in English due to the prevailing perception that anyone who spoke a language other than English were deemed "un-American" during that period. Alvarez recounted her initial encounters in the United States and the subseque

This study aimed at identifying how children express the emerging coronavirus in general and according to their age groups (4-13 years) by analyzing 91 of their drawings published online, using the descriptive content analytical approach. The results showed that children's artistic expression of the virus came according to the concepts and ideas they carried about the virus for the age groups of (4-7 years) and (7-9 years), while it came according to visual perception for age groups (9-11 years), and from (11-13) years. Also, most children were aware about the presence of the virus and its widespread around the world, but (99%) of them do not realize the seriousness of the virus. It was confirmed that between (25-34%) of children were su
