Knowledge of permeability is critical for developing an effective reservoir description. Permeability data may be calculated from well tests, cores and logs. Normally, using well log data to derive estimates of permeability is the lowest cost method. The study of Shiranish Formation rocks in southern part of Iraq at Ansab area well (KH-6)

and bottom, the upper tongue at thickness 49m. and tongued at depth (476-525m.) the lower

CR-39 is a solid state nuclear track detector (SSNTD) that has been used in many research areas. In spite of the assumption that the CR-39 detectors are insensitive to beta and gamma rays, irradiation with these rays can have significant effects on the detector properties.
