4-[(2-hydroxy-4,6-dimethylphenyl)diazenyl]-1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-3(2H)-one has been readied by combination the diazonium salt of 4-aminoantipyrine with 3,5-dimethylphenol. Spectral studies ( FTIR, UV-Vis, 1H and 13CNMR) and microelemental analysis (C.H.N) are use to identified of the ligand. Complexes of some transition metals were performed as well depicted. The formation of complexes were characterized by using atomic absorption of flame, elemental analysis, infrared and UV-Vis spectral process as well conductivity and magnetic quantifications. Nature of compounds produced have been studied followed the mole ratio and continuous contrast methods, Beer's law followed during a concentration scope (1×10-4 - 3×10-4 M/L). height molar absorbtivity of compound solutions have been noticed. Analytical data showed that all the complexes outo 1:2 metal-ligand ratio. At the radix for physicochemical datum an octahedral structure have been described at compounds, other than the biological studies of all produced compounds was evalution against different kindes of antimicrobial strains.
ABSTRACT : A new ligand [ 2- (3-acetylthioureido)-3-phenylpropanoic acid (APA) is synthesized by reaction of acetyl isothiocyanate with phenylalanine (1:1). It is characterized by micro elemental analysis (C.H.N.S.), FT-IR, (UV-Vis) and 1H and 13CNMR spectra. Some metals ions complexes of this ligand were prepared and characterized by FT-IR, UV-Visible spectra, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From results obtained, the following formula [M(APA)2] where M2+ = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg, the proposed molecular structure for these complexes as tetrahedral geometry, except copper complex is has square planer geometry.
The preparation of a new Azo compounds of highly conjugated dimeric and polymeric liquid crystal to achieve the crystalline characteristics Which have structures assigned based on elemental analysis, IR 1HNMR and CHNS-O while mesogenic properties have been set for DSC and hot-stage polarizing optical microscopy. The compounds show enantiotropicnematic phase being displayed. The compounds show photoluminescence properties in the organic solution at room temperature, with the fluorescence band centered around 400 nm.
A new ligand [3(3(2chloroacetyl) thioureido)pyrazine-2-carboxyliIcacid](CPC)was synthesized by reaction of rized by imicro elmental analysis C.H.N.S.,FT-IR,UV-Vis and 1H-13CNMR spectra, some transition metals complex ofIthis ligand were Prepared and characterized byiFT-IR,UV-Vis spectra conductivity measurements magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From the obtained results the molecular formula of all prepared complexes were[M(CPC)2](M+2i=Mn. This work represents the preparation of the starting material, 3-chloro-2-oxo-1,4-dithiacyclohexane (S) using a new method. This material was reacted with, 4-phenylthiosemicarbazide to give (H3NS3) as a tetradentate ligand H3L. New complex of rhenium (V) with this ligand of the formula [ReO(L)] was prepared. New complexes of the general formula [M(HL)] of this ligand when reacted with some metal ions where: M = Ni(II), Cu(II), Cd(II), Zn(II), Hg(II) have been reported. The ligand and the complexes were characterized by infrared, ultraviolet–visible, mass, 1H nuclear magnetic resonance and atomic absorption spectroscopic techniques and by (HPLC), elemental analysis, and electrical conductivity. The proposed structure for H3L with Re (V) i
