Synthesis, Spectroscopic and Antimicrobial Studies of Mixed Ligand Metal (II) Complexes with three amino acids

The research includes synthesis and identification of novel three amino acids ligands complexes of some heavy metal (II) ions by using the amino acids like glycine, L-alanine and L-valine. New metal mixed ligand complexes with amino acids are prepared the reaction by reacting the three amino acids with the metals(II) chloride by using 50% ethanolic solution and 50% distall water in the molar ratio [1:1:1:1] ( M:Gly:Ala:Val) except for Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes were found after diagnosis the coordination with both Lalanine and L-valine. The prepared complexes identified by using physical properties, flame atomic absorption and conductivity measurements, in addition, mass, FT.IR and UV.vis spectrum as well magnetic moment data. The general formula of the complexes is Na[M(Gly)(Ala)(Val)].H2O in which the Glycine (C2H5NO2) is symbolized as (Gly), the L-alanine (C3H7NO2) is symbolized (Ala), L-valine (C5H11NO2) is symbolized (Val) and M(II) represent Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II), except the Co(II) complex is in the formula [Co(Ala)(Val)(OH2)2]. and the Ni(II) complex is in the formula Na[Ni(Ala)(Val)Cl].H2O. Each of the glycine, L-alanine and L-valine behave as a bidentate ligand which is coordinated through the oxygen atom of the carboxyl group (-COO- ) and the nitrogen atom of the amino group (-NH2). The suggest geometry of the metal(II) complexes to be octahedral except the Ni(II) complex is square pyramid geometry. In the research the study of antibacterial and antifungal activity of the three amino acidsilgands and their complexes.

Spectrophotometric Method for Determination of Cu(II) Using a New Schiff Base Ligand

The Cu(II) was found using a quick and uncomplicated procedure that involved reacting it with a freshly synthesized ligand to create an orange complex that had an absorbance peak of 481.5 nm in an acidic solution. The best conditions for the formation of the complex were studied from the concentration of the ligand, medium, the eff ect of the addition sequence, the eff ect of temperature, and the time of complex formation. Synthesis and Characterization of P3HT Metal Nanoparticles Hybrid Junction

In this work the fabrication and characterization of poly(3-hexylthiophene) P3HT-metallic nanoparticles (Ag, Al). Pulsed Laser Ablation (PLA) technique was used to synthesis the nanoparticles in liquid. The Fourier Transformer Infrared (FTIR) for all samples indicate the chemical interaction between the polymer and the nanoparticles. Scanning Electron Microscopic (SEM) analysis showed the particle size for P3HT-AgNps samples between 44.50 nanometers as well the spherical structure. While for P3HT-AlNps samples was flakes shape. Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectra show the existing of amount of metallic nanoparticles.

Preparation of Some (Transition Metal-Flavylium Salt- Flavon) Complexes

Three ligands were prepared, spectroscopic method and elemental analysis verified their structures. The L1 and L2 ligands are flavylium salts while the third one L3 is a Flavon. The reactions between transition metal salts and the ligands have synthesized two groups of new metal complexes, one group contains L1, L3 coordinated with the metal ion. Synthesis and Characterization of Some New Metals Complexes of ((4 Methoxy Benzoyl) Carbamothioyl) Glycine

It is characterized by micro elemental analysis (C.H.N.S.), FT-IR, (UV-Vis) and 1H and 13CNMR spectra. Some metals ions complexes of this ligand were prepared and characterized byFT-IR,UV-Visible spectra, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From results obtained, the following formula [M(MCG)2] where M2+ = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, , Cd and Hg, the proposed molecular structure for these complexes as tetrahedral geometry, except copper complex is has square planer geometry.

Synthesis and Antimicrobial Evaluation of New 6 and7 Substituted Derivatives of Coumarin

Synthesis, and Antimicrobial Evaluation of New hydrazone Derivatives of (2,4-dinitrophenyl) hydrazine

In this work, novel compounds of hydrazones derived from (2,4-dinitrophenyl) hydrazine were synthesized. Benzamides derivatives and sulfonamides derivatives were prepared from p-amino benzaldehyde. Then these compounds were condensed with (2,4-dinitrophenyl) hydrazine through Imine bond formation to give hydrazones compounds. The compounds were characterized using FT-IR (IR Affinity-1) spectrometer, and 1HNMR analyses. The majority of the compounds have a moderate antimicrobial activity against “Gram-positive bacteria staphylococcus Aureus, and staphylococcus epidermidis, Gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella pneumoniae, and fungi species Candida albicans” using concentrations of 250 µg\ml.
