Sustainable plant protection and the economy of plant crops worldwide depend heavily on the health of agriculture. In the modern world, one of the main factors influencing economic growth is the quality of agricultural produce. The need for future crop protection and production is growing as disease-affected plants have caused considerable agricultural losses in several crop categories. The crop yield must be increased while preserving food quality and security and having the most negligible negative environmental impact. To overcome these obstacles, early discovery of satisfactory plants is critical. The use of Advances in Intelligent Systems and information computer science effectively helps find more efficient and low-cost solutions. This paper proposed a multiclass classification model that aims to detect diseases in three types of fruit using the leaves plant images dataset. These three types of fruit are (Apple, Cherry, and Strawberry) where Apples have three disease dataset categories (Apple Scab, Black Rot, and Cedar Rust) as well as healthy apple dataset, Cherry have Powdery Mildew disease dataset category and healthy dataset, and Strawberry have leaf Scorch disease dataset category and healthy dataset. These datasets are based on the Kaggle website. These multiclass classifications need several steps of processing; the first step is preprocessing the dataset by resizing all images to the same size, segmentation, and removing noise; then, feature extraction from color and texture features; the next step is feature selection to find optimal features by using the Salp Swarm algorithm (SSA); and classification by using machine learning models (Random Forest), (CatBoost), and (XGBoost). In the final step, evaluation of the performance was used to select several matrices: Accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.
Iron–phthalocyanine (FePc) organic photoconductive detector was fabricated using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique to work in ultraviolet (UV) and visible regions. The organic semiconductor material (iron phthalocyanine) was deposited on n-type silicon wafer (Si) substrates at different thicknesses (100, 200 and 300) nm. FePc organic photoconductive detector has been improved by two methods: the first is to manufacture the detector on PSi substrates, and the second is by coating the detector with polyamide–nylon polymer to enhance the photoconductivity of the FePc detector. The current–voltage (I–V) characteristics, responsivity, photocurrent gain, response time and the quantum efficiency of the fabricated photoconduc

The purpose of this research is to establish a novel cyber security framework for strengthening cloud data protection. In this paper, we propose a novel Dung Beetle optimization-redefined Intelligent Random Forest (DB-IRF) for accurate detection of intrusions in a cloud environment. We obtained a dataset that includes cloud system logs and network traffic data, including normal and malicious activities, to train our proposed model. We utilized z-score normalization to pre-process the gathered raw data. Our suggested model enhances classification accuracy by integrating DB optimization with the

Audio steganography is a type of data steganography, where the secret message is hidden in audio carrier. This paper proposes an efficient audio steganography method that uses LSB technique. The proposed method enhances steganography performance by exploiting all carrier samples and balancing between hiding capacity and distortion ratio. It suggests an adaptive number of hiding bits for each audio sample depending on the secret message size, the cover carrier size, and the signal to noise ratio (SNR). Comparison results show that the proposed method outperforms state of the art methods

This paper presents a technique for improving upscaling gray images using a new mixing wavelet generation by tensor product. The proposed technique employs a multi-resolution analysis provided by a new mixing wavelet transform algorithm to decompose the input image into different frequency components. After processing, the low-resolution input image is effectively transformed into a higher-resolution representation by adding a zeroes matrix. Discrete wavelets transform (Daubechies wavelet Haar) as a 2D matrix is used but is mixed using tensor product with another wavelet matrix’s size. MATLAB R2021

Under some conditions, the electrolyte content of polymers was analyzed in constant percent of PVA/PVP (50:50), ethylene carbonate (EC), and propylene carbonate (PC) (1:1) with different proportions of potassium iodide (KI) (10, 20, 30, 40, 50 wt%) and iodine (I2) = 10 wt% of salt. Fourier Transmission Infrared (FTIR) studies confirmed the complex formation of polymer blends. Electrical conductivity was calculated with an impedance analyzer in the frequency range 50 Hz–1MHz and in the temperature range 293–343 K. The highest electrical conductivity value of 5.3 × 10-3 (S/cm) was observed for electrolytes with 50 wt% KI concentration at room

Show MoreA novel robust finite time disturbance observer (RFTDO) based on an independent output-finite time composite control (FTCC) scheme is proposed for an air conditioning-system temperature and humidity regulation. The variable air volume (VAV) of the system is represented by two first-order mathematical models for the temperature and humidity dynamics. In the temperature loop dynamics, a RFTDO temperature (RFTDO-T) and an FTCC temperature (FTCC-T) are designed to estimate and reject the lumped disturbances of the temperature subsystem. In the humidity loop, a robust output of the FTCC humidity (FTCC-H) and RFTDO humidity (RFTDO-H) are also designed to estimate and reject the lumped disturbances of the humidity subsystem. A Modified Fractional-Order Proportional-Integral-Derivative (MFOPID) controller is proposed to improve trajectory tracking of a 2-DoF Lower Limb Rehabilitation Exoskeleton Robot (LLRER). The classical FOPID is augmented with a modified control formulation by which steady-state error is reduced and the transient response is sharpened. Controller gains and fractional orders were tuned offline using a hybrid metaheuristic Improved Elk Herd Optimization hybridized with Grey Wolf and Multi-Verse Optimization algorithms (IElk-GM) so that exploration and exploitation are balanced.
