Glaucoma is a visual disorder, which is one of the significant driving reason for visual impairment. Glaucoma leads to frustrate the visual information transmission to the brain. Dissimilar to other eye illness such as myopia and cataracts. The impact of glaucoma can’t be cured; The Disc Damage Likelihood Scale (DDLS) can be used to assess the Glaucoma. The proposed methodology suggested simple method to extract Neuroretinal rim (NRM) region then dividing the region into four sectors after that calculate the width for each sector and select the minimum value to use it in DDLS factor. The feature was fed to the SVM classification algorithm, the DDLS successfully classified Glaucoma disease with 70% percentage; moreover, when the dimensions of both Optic Disc(OD) and Optic Cup(OC) were used as additional features the accuracy rate raised to 91%.
Background: This study is to evaluate the necessity of prescribing prophylactic antibiotics for nasal packing in spontaneous epistaxis. There are few published papers of infective complications in such patients.
Methods: This prospective study analysed 149 consecutive patients admitted to AL-Kindy teaching hospital with spontaneous, epistaxis, who underwent nasal packing over 2 years period . in the first year, 78 patients received prophylactic antibiotics , In the second year 71 patients were not given prophylatic antibiotics. Exclusion criteria included antibiotics prescribed for unrelated pathology and post-operative epistaxis. Signs and symptoms of acute otitis m

These new procedures have all the useful properties of B -spline function and can be used comparatively greater computational ease and efficiency. The results of these algorithms are compared with the cubic spline function. Two numerical examples are given for conciliated the results of this method.
The study examined the assessment of raw water and drinking water projects of Diyala Governorate for the year 2017, amounting to (24) projects, The average per capita supply of potable water (0.396 m3 / day/person), which is less than the global standard for the average per capita of drinking water, and constitute water rumors within the network of water transport in the province (3%), and the water of raw and drinking value within the limits allowed to be used by Iraq and the global indicators of {Total acidity, alkaline, acidic function, chlorides, magnesium, Electrical conductivity, total soluble salts, sodium, potassium, sulfates, turbidity other than (raw water)}. The aim of this study was to introduce ear lobes as alternative landmarks for the interpupillary line during orientation of the occlusal plane. Also, the other aim was to compare the ear lobes with the pupils of the eyes to verify that they were indifferent as anatomical landmarks. Materials & methods: The alternative landmarks, ear lobes, were presented and the method for orienting the occlusal plane with these landmarks was introduced. It concern a practical study of the characteristics of this phenomenon and economically harmful to the consumer the same time. Multiple pipe fittings are used aimed to reduce this phenomenon and its work as alternatives to the manufactured arresters that used to avoid water hammer in the sanitary installations, while the consumer did not have any knowledge as to the non-traded for many reasons, including the water pressure decreases in the networks and the use of consumer pumps to draw water directly from the network. The proposed method is based on work on the golden ratio and Surah AL-E-Imran in the Qur'an. Simulation experiments were conducted to study a small sample behavior. The results proved the superiority the proposed on the competition method for selecting smoothing parameter.
There were two types of plows used widely in agricultural fields in the country. The first plow was moldboard plow, while the second one was chisel plow. There were large numbers of Iraqi farmers that used chisel plow for such farming practices. Researchers found that moldboard plows gave the highest rate of carbon dioxide emission. They observed that that with chisel plows they got the lowest carbon dioxide emission. Chisel plow saved energy as compared to moldboard plow and the cost of using the chisel plows was less than the moldboard plows. Chisel plow decreased carbon dioxide emissions from the soil and improve soil properties. The benefits of using chisel plows were more than using moldboard plows.
Objectives: The study aims to assess the QOL for parents of a child with autism Methodology: A descriptive study was conducted on parents of autistic child in Baghdad city. A purposive (non-probability) sample of (156) parents, (78) mothers and (78) fathers of (78) autistic children who are clients and receive care in the private specialization centers for autism were selected to participated in the current study. The study used a self- administrative questionnaire for data collection. Results: The findings indicated that both parents (mothers and fathers) were participated in this study, and they comprised
