The Role of Sewage Irrigation Management in Water Productivity, Growth and Yield Parameters of Broccoli in Al-Sulaimani government/Kurdistan region
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The objective of the present work was to estimate water requirements and water use efficiency for Broccoli under normal irrigation conditions and sewage irrigation. Field experiment was carried out during the season 2018 at station/Sulaimni agricultural station/Bakrajo –College of Agricultural Sciences. The experiment included three treatments: River water irrigation in all season growth (I1), Sewage water irrigation in all season growth (I2), Alternate irrigation (one river irrigation followed by two sewage water irrigation) in all season growth (I3). The experimental Design was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. Broccoli planted under surface irrigation system. Mean irrigation requirement for irrigation management scheduling gave water consumptive use values 442, 432 and 427 mm for river water, sewage water and alternate irrigation, respectively. Average yield Broccoli plant was 32.67, 40.25 and 46.73 Ton ha−1 for river water irrigation, sewage water irrigation and alternate irrigation, respectively. High performance of Alternate irrigation application was mentioned by plant height which record 39, 42 and 46 cm; head diameter 21, 25 and 28 cm; leaf area 306, 329 and 349 cm2 and number of leaves 18, 21 and 22 for river water irrigation, sewage water irrigation and alternate irrigation, respectively. WUEc were 7.39, 9.32 and 10.94 kg m−3 for river, sewage and alternate treatments, respectively. The results showed that the concentrations of these elements did not reach the critical limits in the fruits for all irrigation treatments. This is a positive and good result due to the increase in rainfall rates in this season led to weak accumulation of heavy metals in the soil and poor absorption by the plant.</p>

Free Vibration Analysis for Dynamic Stiffness Degradation of Cracked Cantilever Plate
...Show More Authors

In the present work a dynamic analysis technique have been developed to investigate and characterize the quantity of elastic module degradation of cracked cantilever plates due to presence of a defect such as surface of internal crack under free vibration. A new generalized technique represents the first step in developing a health monitoring system, the effects of such defects on the modal frequencies has been the main key quantifying the elasticity modulii due to presence any type of un-visible defect. In this paper the finite element method has been used to determine the free vibration characteristics for cracked cantilever plate (internal flaws), this present work achieved by different position of crack. Stiffness re

Posinormality of Operators Treated by Weyl's Theorem on Unbounded Hilbert Space
...Show More Authors

Hamiltonians, momentum operators, and other quantum-mechanical perceptible take the form of self-adjoint operators when understood in quantized physical schemes. Unbounded and self-adjoint recognition are required in the situation of positive measurements. The selection of the proper Hilbert space(s) and the selection of the self-adjoint extension must be made in order for this to operate. In this effort, we define a new extension positive measure depending on the measurable field of nonzero positive self-adjoint operator in unbounded Hilbert space of analytic functions of complex variables. Consequently, we define an extension norm in the same space. We show several new properties of the suggested operator and its adjoin operator. These pr

Chemical bath deposition of single crystal SnS nanobelts on glass substrates
...Show More Authors

SnS nanobelt thin films were deposited on glass substrates in acidic solution by chemical bath deposition (CBD) method. The belt-like morphologies of as-deposited SnS thin films were characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman measurements were carried out to confirm the crystal structures and phase purities of SnS nanobelt thin films. The morphologies and phase purities of SnS thin films were influenced greatly by the tin and sulfur precursors. The bandgaps of SnS nanobelts were determined to be 1.39–1.41 eV by UV–vis absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectra. Current-voltage ((I-V)) and current-time ((I-T)) characteristics were studied to demon

Thermal Conductivity Enhancement of Iraqi Origin Paraffin Wax by Nano-Alumina
...Show More Authors

Abstract

Paraffin wax is utilized for the heat storage applications taking advantage from the high stored latent heat during the phase change (from solid to fluid) period. What isn't right with this procedure is that the wax has a little heat transfer rate because of its low thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity improvement of the paraffin wax has been examined utilizing nano-material with high thermal conductivity. In the recent study, (Al2O3) nanoparticles with weights of 1, 2, and 3% of the paraffin wax were added to the paraffin wax. The Iraqi paraffin wax accessible at the local markets was utilized as a phase change material (PCM).
