The research demonstrates new species of the games by applying separation axioms via sets, where the relationships between the various species that were specified and the strategy of winning and losing to any one of the players, and their relationship with the concepts of separation axioms via sets have been studied.
CO2 geo-storage efficiency is strongly influenced by the wettability of the CO2-brine-mineral system. With decreasing water-wetness, both, structural and residual trapping capacities are substantially reduced. This constitutes a serious limitation for CO2 storage particularly in oil-wet formations (which are CO2-wet). To overcome this, we treated CO2-wet calcite surfaces with nanofluids (nanoparticles dispersed in base fluid) and found that the systems turned strongly water-wet state, indicating a significant wettability alteration and thus a drastic improvement in storage potential. We thus conclude that CO2 storage capacity can be significantly enhanced by nanofluid priming.
A water crisis is a circumstance in which a region accessible potable, unpolluted water is less than the requirement of that country. Two converging trends cause water scarcity, that are expanded use of irrigation, and loss of available freshwater supplies. Water scarcity can arise from two mechanisms, the physical water scarcity because of deficient natural water supply to fulfil the country demand, and economic water scarcity due to bad management for sufficient available water resources. This research examines data set as multispectral Landsat 8 satellite images that are detected for Basrah city, located in southern Iraq, and positioned between Kuwait and Iran on the Shatt al-Arab. Such raw data are satellite images. Using ENVI 5.3 softw
... Show MoreThe significance of supra topological spaces as a subject of study cannot be overstated, as they represent a broader framework than traditional topological spaces. Numerous scholars have proposed extensions to supra open sets, including supra semi-open sets, supra delta-open sets and others. In this paper, the concept of supra delta-semi-open set was introduced within the generalizations of the supra topology of sets. Our investigation involves harnessing this category of sets to introduce new notions in these spaces, specifically supra delta-semi-limit points, supra delta-semi-derive points and examining their relationship with supra semi-open. Building upon this set classification, we introduce several additional concepts such as
... Show MoreThe aim of our work is to develop a new type of games which are related to (D, WD, LD) compactness of topological groups. We used an infinite game that corresponds to our work. Also, we used an alternating game in which the response of the second player depends on the choice of the first one. Many results of winning and losing strategies have been studied, consistent with the nature of the topological groups. As well as, we presented some topological groups, which fail to have winning strategies and we give some illustrated examples. Finally, the effect of functions on the aforementioned compactness strategies was studied.
The present research was carried out to assess the toxic effect of oral administration of the aqueous extract of Nerium oleander leaves and flowers daily at doses of (25) mg/kg body weight for four weeks in mice. The toxicity of this plant parts was determined after two and four weeks by measuring the parameters of cytogenetic (mitotic index, micronucleus %), and serum levels of the hematological (RBC, Hb, WBC) and biochemical (GOT, GPT, ALT, AST) indexes in comparison with that of the control (normal saline), also clinical signs were determined. The results showed a significant decrease in mitotic index while an obvious raise was seen in micronucleus percentage in comparison with that of the control after the two periods of admini
... Show MoreThis research was conducted to measure the safety of heat stable enterotoxin a (STa) produced by enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, through studying its toxic effect on mice since it showed a promising effect in reducing the proliferation of colorectal cancer cells. The cytogenetic effect was determined after giving five different doses (100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600)μg/Kg in comparison with negative (phosphate buffer saline / PBS) and positive (mitomycin C/ MMC, at doses of 2 and 5μg/Kg) controls on mouse bone marrow cells by employing the following parameters: mitotic index, chromosomal aberrations and micronucleus, also, the serum level of liver functional enzymes (GOT, GPT, ALP) was recorded. In addition, lethal dose 50 (LD 50) with cert
... Show MoreExperimental programs based test results has been used as a means to find out the response of individual elements of structure. In the present study involves investigated behavior of five reinforced concrete deep beams of dimension (length 1200 x height 300 x width150mm) under two points concentrated load with shear span to depth ratio of (1.52), four of these beams with hallow core and
retrofit with carbon fiber reinforced polymer CFRP (with single or double or sides Strips). Two shapes of hallow are investigated (circle and square section) to evaluated the response of beams in case experimental behavior. Test on simply supported beam was performed in the laboratory & loaddeflection, strain of concrete data and crack pattern of
