Study the synergistic Effect between Nanoparticles and Spiramycin on Immunological Response Against Toxoplasmosis
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>This investigation was carried out to estimate the antiparasitic potential of silver and Chitosan nanoparticles loaded with spiramycin against toxoplasmosis infected. After mice injected intraperitoneal in a dose 103viable tachyzoites for acute infection; then treated with spiramycin, chitosan nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles as a single or combined therapy given for seven days. Peritoneal fluid examination revealed a significant decrease in the number ofT. gondiitachyzoites in all treated infected mice compared with infected non-treated. The combined therapy presented better results than the single one. The best effect was observed in a group of mice treated with the combined chitosan nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles loaded with spiramycin. Also, immunological parameters IgM antibody, INF-γ and TNF-α cytokines responses againstT. gondiiantigens were assessed in serum samples by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) kits after treatment. The current work is the first time of using Ag NPs and CS NPs loaded with spiramycin as therapeutic agents against experimental toxoplasmosis. It was shown that the highest degree of effectiveness attained by the synergistic action of chitosan and Ag NPs as was indicated by lower parasite count and IFN-γ, TNF-α concentration.</p>

A Study of the Effects of the Solar Cycle 22, on the Critical Frequencies of F1 Layer over Baghdad
...Show More Authors

This paper aims to study the effects of the long term solar activity on the critical frequencies of ionospheric F1 layer over Baghdad city, during the solar cycle 22, within (1988- 1995). It is found that the critical frequency of this layer is closely related to the sunspots number during the years of the solar cycle 22, at a middle latitude region of the world. The study discussed the effect of sunspot numbers and solar events on the electron densities of F1 layer, which is the most important ionospheric parameter.

The Role of Strategic Improvisation on the Entrepreneurial Orientation; a Field Study in a Sample from the Rafidain Bank
...Show More Authors

The research aims to identify the role of strategic improvisation as an independent variable with its dimensions (Building the Solution, Intuition, Adaptation, and Spontaneity) and the Entrepreneurial Orientation as a dependent variable with its dimensions (Identifying Opportunities, Creativity, Adopting risk, and Vision). This research has been applied in the Rafidain Bank and its branches (Sunk, People, Al-Firdaws, and Alawiya); it used the questionnaire as a basic tool for collecting information. The sample was intentionality, which included all the heads of departments in the bank’s branches, which amounted to (33) workers, and data on the questionnaire paragraphs of 28 were processed using the SPSS V.23 and AMOS V.23).      The increase in military spending has become a feature of the times for many countries, including China. They have sought to increase their defence spending, not with the aim of domination and possession, but rather to protect their economic interests and to secure their foreign trade. The research aims to identify the impact of military spending by studying the nature of defence spending and its role in providing security. And stability and facilitating foreign investment in it, as well as storming the military industry, securing some humanitarian supplies, and participating in a variety of public works that can be used in the civil and military fields, and the aim of the research is to id

Synthesis and characterization study of n-Bi2O3/p-Si heterojunction dependence on thickness
...Show More Authors

Abstract. In this work, Bi2O3 was deposited as a thin film of different thickness (400, 500, and 600 ±20 nm) by using thermal oxidation at 573 K with ambient oxygen of evaporated bismuth (Bi) thin films in a vacuum on glass substrate and on Si wafer to produce n-Bi2O3/p-Si heterojunction. The effect of thickness on the structural, electrical, surface and optical properties of Bi2O3 thin films was studied. XRD analysis reveals that all the as deposited Bi2O3 films show polycrystalline tetragonal structure, with preferential orientation in the (201) direction, without any change in structure due to increase of film thickness. AFM and SEM images are used to investigate the influences of film thickness on surface properties. The optical measur

Oral swab samples were collected from 120 children (ages between one month- 10 years) who were infected with oral thrush and 30 healthy children. The percentages of isolated yeasts and Bacteria were 66.6% and 96.6% respectively. The dominate yeast and bacteria were Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus with of 78.7% and 34.4% respectively. Results revealed that the highest percent of infection with oral thrush disease was 32.5% in children within the age of 1-2 months.

In this, search the comparison between binary lo
