في هذا البحث نحاول تسليط الضوء على إحدى طرائق تقدير المعلمات الهيكلية لنماذج المعادلات الآنية الخطية والتي تزودنا بتقديرات متسقة تختلف أحيانا عن تلك التي نحصل عليها من أساليب الطرائق التقليدية الأخرى وفق الصيغة العامة لمقدرات K-CLASS. وهذه الطريقة تعرف بطريقة الإمكان الأعظم محدودة المعلومات "LIML" أو طريقة نسبة التباين الصغرى"LVR

This study aimed to determine obesity level of some population in Baghdad by using Bio-electrical impedance analysis (BIA) and compared with anthropometric measurements such as body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC) and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR). Statistical analysis results of linear correlation coefficients for obesity indicators showed that BIA correlation 0.92 was most significant and reliable for obesity measurement.

Serum levels of iron,copper,ceruloplasmin and transferrine were estimated in three groups of patients with ?- thalassemia: 24 patients have splenectomy thalassemia major, 29 patients have non splenectomy thalassemia major and 19 patients have thalassemia intermedia , data were compared to normal and pathological controls (anemia and minor). A rapid, simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of chromium is studied. The method is based on the interaction of chromium with indigo carmine dye in acidic medium and the presence of oxalates as a catalyst for interaction, and after studying the absorption spectrum of the solution resulting observed decrease in the intensity of the absorption.
