Alloys from AgSb(SxSe1-x)2 with different compositions were prepared using quenching from the melt . This was done by put the appropriate amount of Ag, Sb,S and Se in an evaluated quartz ampoule , sealed and left at oven in temperature 1273 for 5 hours. Thin films with different composition were deposited by pulsed deposition technique PLD onto glass substrates at ambient temperature . This paper concerned on the investigate effect of composition on structural morphology, and electrical properties. The structure and morphology of the prepoared thin films were checked using X–ray diffraction and atomic force microscope. The D.C conductivity of the AgSb(SxSe1-x)2thin films with various x content was measured
... Show MoreFe2O3/ MgO composites with various ratios (90/10,80/20,70/30,60/40 and 50/50 %wt.) were synthesized. Their structure was determined using the X-ray diffractometer. The observed X-Ray patterns showed that the prepared composites were polycrystalline with rhombohedral Hematite (α-Fe2O3) whereas the preferred planes for crystal growth are (104) and (110).The dielectric properties of the Fe2O3/ MgO, with various ratios, were studied as function of frequency over the range (50Hz – 1MHz). The conductivity as function to frequency σa.c(ω) obey the power law relation σa.c(ω) =Aωs where the factor s was found to be in the range 0.329-0.491. The dielectric constant is increasing; but not in a regular way, with the increasing MgO content. The

Electrolytes were prepared via solution casting method, with Li2CO3 added at 10, 20, and 30 wt.% to the PVA/PVP/PEG blend (50/30/20 ratio). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis revealed interactions between the added salt and the polymer blend. The addition of both PEG and Li2CO3 resulted in increased ionic conductivity, reaching a maximum of 4.51 x 10- 5 S/cm at 30 degrees C with 20 wt.% Li2CO3. Ionic conductivity also exhibited a positive temperature dependence. Optical analysis showed a decrease in the optical energy gap with the addition of PEG a
... Show MoreSecnidazole was linked with ciprofloxacin as mutual prodrugs to get antibiotics with broader spectrum of activity, improved physicochemical properties and given by single dose to improve patient’s compliance. Furthermore, they provide structural modifications to overcome bacterial adaptation. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed using FT-IR, mass spectrometry, elemental microanalysis (CHNO) and some physiochemical properties. This modification was led to an increase in Log P values for Mutual I (Log P 1.114) and Mutual II (Log P 1.97) compared with its values for Secnidazole (Log P -0.373) and ciprofloxacin (Log P -0.832). The solubility of prodrugs had been determined in different media, Mutual II showed 1

Show MoreThe goal of this investigation is to prepare zinc oxide (ZnO) nano-thin films by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique through Q-switching double frequency Nd:YAG laser (532 nm) wavelength, pulse frequency 6 Hz, and 300 mJ energy under vacuum conditions (10-3 torr) at room temperature. (ZnO) nano-thin films were deposited on glass substrates with different thickness of 300, 600 and 900 nm. ZnO films, were then annealed in air at a temperature of 500 °C for one hour. The results were compared with the researchers' previous theoretical study. The XRD analysis of ZnO nano-thin films indicated a hexagonal multi-crystalline wurtzite structure with preferential growth lines (100), (002), (101) for ZnO nano-thin films with different thi

The compounds were obtained by mixing Nickle oxide and zinc oxide in the appropriate ratio and sintered at 1000°C for six hours. Pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method which is simple and inexpensive method was used to deposit (NiO) 1-x (ZnO) x thin films on glass substrate at ambient temperature. Structural, optical and properties were investigated. The structures investigation obtained from x-ray diffraction showed that the prepared of compound as well as thin films have polycrystalline structure where the diffraction peaks w
TiO2 thin films were deposited by Spray Pyrolysis with thickness ((350±25) nm) onto glass substrates at (350°C), and the film was annealed at temperatures (400 and 500)°C. The structural and morphological properties of the thin films (TiO2) were investigated by X-ray diffraction, Field emission scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscope. The gas sensor fabricated by evaporating aluminum electrodes using the annealed TiO2 thin films as an active material. The sensitivity of the sensors was determined by change the electrical resistance towards NO2 at different working temperatures (200
Polyaniline organic Semiconductor polymer thin films have been prepared by oxidative polymerization at room temperature, this polymer was deposited on glass substrate with thickness 900nm, FTIR spectra was tested , the structural, optical and electrical properties were studied through XRD ,UV-Vis ,IR measurements ,the results was appeared that polymer thin film sensing to NH3 gas.
In the present work, a D.C. magnetron sputtering system was
designed and fabricated. This chamber of this system includes two
coaxial cylinders made from copper .the inner one used as a cathode
while the outer one used as a node. The magnetic coils located on
the outer cylinder (anode) .The profile of magnetic field for various
coil current (from 2Amp to 14Amp) are shown. The effect of
different magnetic field on the Cu thin films thickness at constant
pressure of 7x10-5mbar is investigated. The result shown that, the
electrical behavior of the discharge strongly depends on the values
of the magnetic field and shows an optimum value at which the
power absorbed by the plasma is maximum. Furthermore, the
