This paper reports on the laser emission properties of the BBQ dye in poly (methyl meth-acrylate)(PMMA). This host material combines the advantages of an organic environment for dye with the thermoptical mechanical properties of an organic dye. A BBQ dye solid solution in PMMA polymer. A nitrogen laser in untuned laser cavity has pumped thin films. We developed the concentration and the thickness to get high efficiency. The laser efficiency had been increased from 7% at thickness 1.5 m to 16.5% at thickness 3.5m, and from 1% to 10% when concentration increased from 1x10-5M to 1x10-3 M

    A faunistic review of the genus Chaitophorus Koch, 1854, including four species in Iraq is given; the distribution data of each species and their hosts have been recorded. In this investigation the poplar leaf aphid Ch. populialbae (Boyer de Fonscolombe, 1841) is recorded here for the first time in Iraq on popular trees Populus euphratica Oliv. during the period from November 2016 to April 2017 in Baghdad province.

New, simple and sensitive batch and Flow-injecton spectrophotometric methods for the determination of Thymol in pure form and in mouth wash preparations have been proposed in this study. These methods were based on a diazotization and coupling reaction between Thymol and diazotized procaine HCl in alkaline medium to form an intense orange-red water-soluble dye that is stable and has a maximum absorption at 474 nm. By combining primary aromatic amines and aromatic carbonyl compounds, Schiff's bases were synthesized. Schiff bases are used with the chloroacetic acid compound to prepare oxazolidine-5-one J1-J5 derivatives. The article provides a comparative analysis of comparisons in Russian and Arabic, aimed at identifying their structural, typological, and functional-pragmatic features. The study is based on a systematic approach to the analysis of linguistic means of expressing comparisons in two differ- ent linguistic cultures. The article analyzes the main structural components of comparisons, their classification, and their cognitive and aesthetic functions.
