Pharmaceutical-instigated pollution is a major concern, especially in relation to aquatic environments and drugs such as meropenem antibiotics. Adsorbents, such as multi-walled carbon nanotubes, offer potential as means of removing polluting meropenem antibiotics and other similar compounds from water. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of multi-walled carbon nanotubes in this capacity, various experimental parameters, including contact time, initial concentration, pH, temperature and the dose of adsorbent have been investigated. The Langmuir and the Freundlich isotherm models have been used. The data obtained using a modified Langmuir model have been consistent with the experimental ones; the best pH value has been obtained to have the maximum uptake capacity with the hights coefficient of determination. The adsorption kinetics data is in accordance with pseudo-second order model for adsorption processes, which is in line with the measured data. The results of this thermodynamic research indicate that the reaction that removes meropenem antibiotics from water by adsorption is exothermic. A combination of mechanisms is responsible for meropenem antibiotics adsorption to adsorbent, including electrostatic and π–π EDA interactions, hydrophobic interaction, functional groups and molecule substitution. According to the research findings, multi-walled carbon nanotubes offer a potential method that can be quickly deployed in order to address pharmaceutical contamination of water.
A new light-weight nanocarbon prepared by spray-drying method to obtain particle size is 21.7 nm based of polylactic acid biodegradable film in antistatic packaging .Bio carbon (biochar) is obtained from plants and soils to naturally absorb and store carbon dioxide from the atmosphere . Therefor it has been used to support biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) with to obtain 100% recyclable material.
Using plasticizer thymol of polylactic acid and biochar (bio carbon) as composites were prepared by a solution casting method with (0.5-10)wt% biochar. The composites characterized by FTIR, electrical conductivity, mechanical properties , contact angle and Colar and Brightness . Results show th

Aims to find out the (Extent of mathematics teachers' appreciation of the mathematical problem `multiple solutions) Research sample consisted of (100) mathematics teachers distributed on the General Directorates of Education in Baghdad (Rusafa 1/2/3) and (Karkh 1/2/ 3) There was two research approach which are: The first - two different answers of students to the same issue where teachers must assess each answer and explain which one the teacher will accept and why? The second - Different solutions of students' to the same issue, including wrong answers , Teachers should correct the answers and give them final grades (0-10). Descriptive and analytical Approch was used in this research methodology And zero hypotheses, which are as f

Show MoreThe major aim of this work is to apply a technique, Elzaki transform (ET), which is an iterative analytical technique to achieve an approximate analytical solution for some applications of nonlinear differential equations. This technique depends on applying ET which has been used to break down the partial differential equation solution into an infinite number of components. Moreover, some illustrative examples are given and the results obtained indicate the proposed method’s accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. Results like this demonstrate how effective and efficient this method is in resolving problems of this kind. Therefore, using fractional differential equations as a model, our suggested approach can be used to analyze the
