  Functionally graded materials (FGMs), with ceramic –ceramic constituents are fabricated using powder technology techniques. The properties of ZnO: Cu thin-nanofilms have been studied by absorbing UV-VIS, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopes (AFM).
