Iatrogenic atrial septal defect post radiofrequency ablation in patients with left atrial SVT: Predictors and outcomes
...Show More Authors

atrogenic atrial septal defect (IASD), post Catheter ablation during electrophysiological study simply can be assess with Echocardiography nowadays ablation consider the main line in the managements of patients with various type of arrhythmia. This study aims to de-termine the outcomes of Iatrogenic Atrial Septal Defect (IASD) six months post radiofrequency ablation (RF) procedure of left atrial arrhythmia using non-invasive Transtho-racic Echocardiography (TTE) parameters (LVEF, E/e` and ASD size) with sheath size as predictors of atrial septal defect closure. Patients and methods: A prospective study was con-ducted in Iraqi Centre for Heart Diseases included 47 patients post Electrophysiology procedure and ablation of left atrial SVT were selected after non complicated tran-septal puncture using two size of sheath in three type of arrythmia and follow up done simply with Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) was used to evaluate the atrial septal defect (ASD) (from May 2019-May 2020) in Iraqi centre for heart diseases. Results: After Electrophysiology study, results of this study were analysed and collected according to duration of procedure, sheath size and number that used in sep-tostomy, size of IASD and Echocardiographic parameters. The mean age of the patients (36.28±10.34 years), males were 23 (48.9%) while females were 24 (51.1%), without structural heart diseases and good LV function with mean EF (64.68± 5.23%). Iatrogenic atrial septal defects (IAS-Ds)were detected by TTE in all patients with range from (2-5) mm with mean of (3.47±0.92), performed by Trans-septal puncture (TSP), either with single 8 French sheath in 24 (51.06%) patients or single 12 French sheath in 17 (36.17%) patients while 6 (12.77%) patients the defect was performed by double transseptal sheath. spontane-ous closure occur in 35(74%) patients within first three months with clear significant association between size of ASD that related to the sheath size and duration of procedure (P<0.0001). We notice that some Echocardiographic parameters were also associated with IASD without any clinical complications and/ or deterioration. Conclusions: post catheter ablation number and size of sheath and duration of ablation consider as a predictor to closure of residual atrial septal defect post atrial sep-tostomy and can simply assess with non-invasive Trans-thoracic Echocardiography parameters such (Atrial septal defect size and body surface area) during initial six months follow up. © 2021, Venezuelan Society of Pharmacology and Clinical and Therapeutic Pharmacology. The effect of the Iraqi dinar exchange rate on inflation and economic growth using the joint integration methodology "a standard study"
...Show More Authors

The exchange rate is of great importance at the global and local levels alike, as this importance increases with the increasing rates of development of economic relations between countries of the world due to openness and integration into the global economy, expressed by the expansion of the volume of trade and financial relations between countries. The Central Bank of Iraq has set the need to stabilize this price as a goal to reduce inflation rates and reduce them to the internationally accepted rates by using the foreign currency sale window to achieve a balance between the forces of supply and demand for foreign currency and to preserve the value of the Iraqi dinar. The research concluded that the central bank was It has a maj

Design and Implementation of a Generalized N-Digit Binary-To-Decimal Converter on an FPGA Seven-Segment Display Using Verilog Hdl
...Show More Authors

It is often needed to have circuits that can display the decimal representation of a binary number and specifically in this paper on a 7-segment display. In this paper a circuit that can display the decimal equivalent of an n-bit binary number is designed and it’s behavior is described using Verilog Hardware Descriptive Language (HDL).
This HDL program is then used to configure an FPGA to implement the designed circuit.

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the effect of the proposed strategy in accordance with realistic mathematics on the achievement and mathematical Interrelation of third Intermediate students. Two samples were tested from the middle third grade in a school affiliated with the General Directorate of Baghdad- Rusafa, the first for the academic year (2022-2021). The experimental group is (30) students taught according to the proposed strategy, and the control group is (30) students based on the traditional method. To achieve the research objective, the researchers developed a test for achievement consisting of (30) items and a test of sports interconnection composed of (20) items. The results of the stu

The Effect of Environmental Factors on Plant Growth: An Analytical Study of Environmental Variables and Their Physiological Response – A Review Article
...Show More Authors

The essay discusses how different environmental factors affect plant growth by explaining how each factor affects the physiological processes within the plant. The essay begins by explaining the effect of temperature on plant growth, as high or low temperatures can significantly affect the rate of photosynthesis and lead to a reduction in water and nutrient absorption. It also discusses the light intensity impacting plants because the more appropriate the light intensity is, the more enhanced the plant's photosynthesis ability, and in the excess or insufficient light condition, the growth can be inhibited. Additionally, the article outlines the effect of water shortage on the plant because this leads to the closure of stomata to avoid water

Some new norms need to be adapted due to COVID-19 pandemic period where people need to wear masks, wash their hands frequently, maintain social distancing, and avoid going out unless necessary. Therefore, educational institutions were closed to minimize the spread of COVID-19. As a result of this, online education was adapted to substitute face-to-face learning. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the Malaysian university students’ adaptation to the new norms, knowledge and practices toward COVID-19, besides, their attitudes toward online learning. A convenient sampling technique was used to recruit 500 Malaysian university students from January to February 2021 through social media. For data collection, all students
