One of the major advantages of digital photogrammetry is the potential to automate production processes efficiently, thus substantially improving the price performance ratio for photogramnetric products. Image processing and computer vision techniques have successfully been employed for facilitating automated procedures in digital aerial images such as interior orientation, relative orientation, point transfer in photogrammetric block triangulation, and the generation of DTMS. In this paper, the researcher presents her investigations on a digital serial triangulation of a block consists of two strips of eight acrial photographs. The air flow rate can be expressed as the difference between the flow rate by the pumping and the flow rate by the leakage. The air flow rate by the pumping increases proportionally to the square of the vibration amplitude of the surface, as does the sealed pressure. The air flow rate by the leakage increases proportionally to the pressure difference between the vessel pressure and the ambient pressure. The experimental results showed good agreement with the theoretical results.
Minimum-cost well drilling demands the best use of controllable drilling variables for each formation to be drilled. To reach this aim, this study was divided into two main parts: The first part deals with applying a mathematical drilling model to field data of forty wells

Bourgoyne & Young (1974) drilling model has been modified to take into consideration the combined effect of weight on bit, rotary speed, bit type, bit size, flow rate, drilling fluid density, drilling fluid viscosity, oil content, bit-nozzle size, formation drillability, formation abrasiveness, bit bearing constant, formation hardness, formation compressive strength, differential pressure between mud column pres
Thermal buckling analysis of symmetric and antisymmetric cross-ply laminated hybrid composite plates with an inclined crack subjected to a uniform temperature rise are presented in this paper. The first-order shear deformation theory in conjunction with variational energy method is employed in the mathematical formulation. The eight-node Lagrangian finite element technique is used for obtaining the thermal buckling temperatures of hybrid composite laminates. The effects of crack size and lay-up sequences on the thermal buckling temperatures for symmetric and a antisymmetric plates are investigated. The results are shown in graphical form

This study investigates the possibility of using waste plastic as one of the components of expired lead-acid batteries to produce lightweight concrete. Different percentages of lead-acid battery plastic were used in the production of lightweight concrete. The replacements were (70, 80 and 100%) by volume of the fine and coarse aggregate. Results demonstrated that a reduction of approximately 23.6% to 35% in the wet density was observed when replacement of 70% to 100% of the natural aggregate by lead-acid battery plastic. Also, the compressive strength decreased slightly with the increase in plastic content at different curing ages of 7, 28, 60, 90, 120 days. The lowest value of compressive strength was (20.7 MPa) for (wa

Different attempts (included various materials) were conducted to proffer solutions to such defects by experimenting in practical ways. method is based on the principle that, at failure, the available shear resistance at the pile soil
interface is related to the mean normal effective stress at the pile face and the effective stress
friction angle for the soil sliding on the pile material.
In this paper, the coupled non-linear finite element method is used to analyze some pile-soil
interaction problems. This computer program ( CRISP ) is used for this task. Eight- node
isoparametric elements were used for displacements while four- node elements are used for
pore pressure. Interface elements are used to simulate the interaction between the pile and the

In sprinkler irrigation systems there are many types of nozzles because any sprinkler irrigation system has special one depend on these system characteristics, so the discharge coefficient relation with nozzle dimensions must be known to the sprinkler irrigation system designer. A computer program for nozzle flow characteristic was built and the relation between the discharge coefficient (C) and the nozzle geometrical dimensions to reach to the best nozzle design was studied. The finite -lifference approach was introduced to carryout all computations with special grid arr

Since the blood is specified as a non-Newtonian flow, therefore the effect of fluid types and effect of rheological properties of non-Newtonian fluid on the degree of stenosis have been studied. The motion equations are written in vorticity-stream function formulation and solved numerically. A comparison is made between a Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid for blood flow at different velocities, viscosity and Reynolds number were solved also. It is found that the properties of blood must be at a certain range to preventing atheroscirasis
This article proposes a current mode inverting and non-inverting Schmitt trigger circuit, which utilizes a Current Follower Transconductance Amplifier (CFTA) and its application in square and triangular wave generators. The hysteresis of a Schmitt trigger is directly influenced by the process variations and transistor mismatches. This issue is more challenging in applications where the level of noise and disturbances is not predictable. To overcome this deficiency, Schmitt triggers with tunable hysteresis can be used as a practical solution. The suggested circuit consists of a single CFTA analog building block laterally with one grounded resistor. The grounded resistor makes the realization of the above-mentioned circuit

In this paper, the behavior of spliced steel girders under static loading is investigated. A group of seven steel I-girders were tested experimentally. Two concentrated loads were applied to each specimen at third points and the load was increased incrementally up to the yield of the specimen. Two types of splices were considered; the bearing type and the friction-grip type splices. For comparison, an analytical study was made for the tested girders in which the finite element analysis program (Abaqus) was used for analysis. It was found that the maximum test load for spliced girders with bearing type splices was in the range of (34%) to (67%) of the maximum test load for the reference girder. For girders spliced by using friction-grip t
