Background: Ministry of Health, since its establishment, adopted the policy of central financing system and free medical services in all health facilities. The sanction and the decline in per capita spending affect the health financing system, thus in 1997 a new financing policy was adopted as pilot in seven specialized hospital called “self–finance” system in which the cost of care was shifted to the patients, i.e. the funds obtained came from user charges at the health facilities. This system was extended (with some modifications) to all hospitals in 1999 and PHC centers in 2001 and implemented until 2003 when it was discontinued.

Background: Several biological factors such as bacterial infections and immunological status are implicated in predisposing individuals to bladder cancer. Bacterial infection of urinary tract has been related to increase the risk of bladder cancer.
Patients and Methods: Resected tumors of a total of 73 patients were obtained under sterile surgical conditions. Biopsy processing samples and culture procedures of biopsy samples were mentioned in the text.
Results: Bacterial growth was observed in 48 biopsy tissues of those patients represent (65.8%) while, 25(34.2%) yielded no growth (negative results). It is obvious that E. coli is the most predominant organisms followed by K. pneumoniae and Ps. Aer

Trichomonas vaginalis is a pear shaped parasite, with a short undulating membrane, lined with a flagellum and four anterior flagella. It is one of the most
common organisms causing infection in the female genital tract, which is normally limited to vulva, vagina and cervix. It doesn't usually extend to the uterus. The

Background: Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a rare chronic liver disease of unknown etiology, characterized by hypergammaglobulinemia, characteristic autoantibodies, and a
favorable response to immunosuppressive treatment. Strong circumstantial evidences denoted that there is quite long list of environmental factors such as (food additives and drugs), viruses and toxins which play an important role in precipitating this disease. Brucellosis is endemic in Iraq. It may involve any organ in the body. Liver is frequently involved. Doxycycline used for treatment occasionally may lead to hepatotoxicity.

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) represents the second most common malignancy and the fourth most common cause of cancer deaths. CRC can manifest early with bright red bleeding per rectum, tenesmus, and altered bowel habits. These symptoms are often attributed to benign lesions, including anal fissure. Our objective is to highlight the alarming scenario of an anal fissure masking the clinical features of an underlying colorectal cancer in healthy middle-aged patients.
Case Report
Our case report aims to discuss how congruent clinical features of benign-looking anal fissure can delay the diagnosis of rectal cancer. In January 2019, a healthy forty-four years old Iraqi male with no famil

Background: Mitochondria play an important role in the regulation of physiological type of cell death (Apoptosis) this type of cell death can be stimulated by two major pathways: external (Fas-Fas ligand interaction) and internal mitochondrial pathway which require disruption of mitochondrial transmembrane potential (ΔΨm ) which leads to opening of mitochondrial channels that lead to release of cytochrome –C which would execute apoptotic process.
Patients and Methods:The study included 32 normal subjects; 2 ml of venous blood were aspirated from each of them and processed for peripheral blood lymphocytes separation (PBL)
Then lymphocyte apoptosis was studied before and after exposing (PBL) to hypertherm
