Five additives were used in this work namely: tetra ethyl ammonium tribromophenyl phosphine (I), tetra ethyl ammonium chlorodibromophenyl phosphine (II) chlorinated rubber (III), a mixture of 50% by weight of each of I and III (additive IV), a mixture of 50% by weight of each of II and III (additiveV) in order to study the synergetic effect of these compounds as flame retardants with epoxy and unsaturated polyester resins.

     The linear non-polynomial spline is used here to solve the fractional partial differential equation (FPDE). The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. The tensor products are given for extending the one-dimensional linear non-polynomial spline to a two-dimensional spline  to solve the heat equation. The study involved 120 women, who were distributed into two groups of breast tumor patients (30 malignant and 30 benign) and a group of controls (60 women). The patients were referred to the Center for Early Detection of Breast Tumor at Al-Alwayia Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics (Baghdad) during the period June-December 2011. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the levels and immunocytochemical distribution of FKBP51 and GR in lymphocyte cells of asthmatic patients, by use of immunocytochemistry method, and to assesslevels ofstress hormones (cortisol and ACTH) by radioimmuniassay (RIA).

The drug ranitidine (N-[2-[[[5-[(dimethylamino) methyl] furan-2-yl] methyl]thio] ethyl]-N-methyl-2-nitroethene–1,1–diamine hydrochlorid) forms (λmax=260nm) ion-pair association complex with [AuBr4]-1 at pH range 2-3 extractable with 1,2-dichloroethane under the appropriate experimental conditions. A calibration plot was set up from which some analytical parameters are derived. These parameters include: linear dynamic range LDR (1-80μg.ml-1), RSD (1.9 %), sandell sensitivity (0.0360), detection limit (0.11ppm), Corr. Coef (r) (0.9988), recovery (98.32 %), Erel (-1.68 %) aqueous - to- organic phase ratio (5:4) and the mole-ratio method approved the [AuBr4]-1 : RAN as being 1:1 .

Around fifty Escherichia coli isolates were isolated from sixty midstream urine specimens collected from patients visiting hospitals in Baghdad city. Approximately, 52% of all isolates were identified as extended spectrum beta lactamases (ESBL) producer. Results demonstrated that 92% of these isolates were sensitive to carbapenems. Only four β-lactamase coding genes were detected; blaTEM, blaPER, blaVIM and blaCTX-M-2. As a conclusion, this work revealed that local E. coli isolates harboured ESBL coding genes which may contribute in its pathogenicity.

     Drought is a complex phenomenon that has severe impacts on the environment. Vegetation and its conditions are very sensitive to drought effects. This study aimed to monitor and assess the drought severity and its relationships to some ecological variables in ten districts of Erbil Governorate (Kurdistan Region), Iraq, throughout 20 years (1998-2017). The results revealed that droughts frequently hit Erbil throughout the study period. The Landsat time-series- based on Vegetation Condition Index (VCI) significantly correlated with precipitation, Digital Elevation Model (DEM), and latitude. Spectroscopic studies, in the ultraviolet region were carried out to characterize the
binding of isolated AFP with its labeled antibody in human malignant germ cell ovarian
tumor homogenates. Factors affecting the absorption properties of AFP, and the complex
of isolated AFP with the labeled antibody such as pH, solvent polarity (solvent
perturbation technique), spectrophotometric pH titration and thermal stability in the
presence of different concentration of sodium chloride have been studied. The
spectroscopic pH titration curves for human AFP and for the complex of isolated AFP
with the labeled antibody gave pka of 5.7 and 7.3 for histidine residue, respectively,

The total suspended particles (TSP) concentrations in air at Kirkuk Oil Refinery and the areas around was determined by using low volume air sampler (Sniffer) at selected locations in two periods October 2010 and March 2011. The results of average concentration of suspended particles (TSP) are higher than the permissible limits of the Iraqi National determinants of (350 μg/m3) and the world limits of (60-90 μg/m3) at the two periods: October 2010 (818.94μg/m3) and March 2011(956.8μg/m3). The little difference between the two periods reflects the little effect of the seasonal changes. Comparison of the averages of the heavy metals (Pb, Ni, Cr, and Cd) with the national and world limits, noticed that they are higher than these limits.

In this article, we propose a Bayesian Adaptive bridge regression for ordinal model. We developed a new hierarchical model for ordinal regression in the Bayesian adaptive bridge. We consider a fully Bayesian approach that yields a new algorithm with tractable full conditional posteriors. All of the results in real data and simulation application indicate that our method is effective and performs very good compared to other methods. We can also observe that the estimator parameters in our proposed method, compared with other methods, are very close to the true parameter values.

The present study aimed to investigate CMV and Rubella virus as a causative agent of recurrent abortion, while the IL-2 levels were estimated as immune parameter during pregnancy period. A total of 63 blood samples were collected from recurrently aborted women, control non-pregnant women and control pregnant women. The results recorded 72.09 % CMV positive aborted women and 27.91 % Rubella virus positive aborted women. In this paper, we present a concept of nC- symmetric operator as  follows: Let A be a bounded linear operator on separable complex Hilbert space , the operator A is said to be nC-symmetric if there exists a positive number n (n  such that CAⁿ = A*^ⁿ C (Aⁿ = C A*^ⁿ C).
