Biological image edge detection preserving the important structural properties in an image. Detecting accurate edges are very important for analyzing the basic properties associated with a biological image. Gradient operator plays very important role in edge detection. In this paper the images had been using are color biological images taken from microbiology laboratory at the biological department college of science Al-MustansiriyhUniversity and the effect of gradient operation have applied on around 10 different biological color images but view only two. In our proposed approach comparative of various gradient of biological image include (gradient of image, gradient of image using first order derivative edge detection (Soble,Prewitt,Ro

Spectrophotometric Kinetic Methods for the Determination of Paracetamol in Pure Form and Pharmaceutical Preparations
...Show More Authors

Simple and sensitive kinetic methods are developed for the determination of Paracetamol in pure form and in pharmaceutical preparations. The methods are based on direct reaction (oxidative-coupling reaction) of Paracetamol with o-cresol in the presence of sodium periodate in alkaline medium, to form an intense blue-water-soluble dye that is stable at room temperature, and was followed spectrophotometriclly at λmax= 612 nm. The reaction was studied kinetically by Initial rate and fixed time (at 25 minutes) methods, and the optimization of conditions were fixed. The calibration graphs for drug determination were linear in the concentration ranges (1-7 μg.ml-1) for the initial rate and (1-10 μg.ml-1) for the fixed time methods at 25 min.

Utilization of an eco-friendly bioactive yellow pigment from Streptomyces thinghirensis AF7 for making colored antimicrobial fabrics
...Show More Authors

Despite their long successful use, synthetic dyes have several problems due to their carcinogenic and toxic effects. Besides providing bright colors, some natural pigments have shown notable antimicrobial activity; thus, they could be utilized as functional dyes in many applications such as making colored antimicrobial textiles. In this work, a yellow pigment produced by Streptomyces thinghirensis AF7 and has a notable antimicrobial activity was used to produce a colored antimicrobial textile. The extracted yellow pigment was subjected to a purification step using silica gel column eluted with di ethyl ether solvent. The FTIR, GC-MS and NMR analysis showed that the colorings in this type of product are due to t

Modelization of the Personal Learning Environment in the Moroccan Higher Education
...Show More Authors

Any research focusing on the teaching-learning process must focus on the learner, by mobilizing the various devices to facilitate and optimize learning. In this context, we introduce the integration of educational technologies into a personal learning environment (PLE). The PLE has significant potential for learning; namely self-construction and self-management of knowledge. According to Attwel (2007b), the development and improvement of PLE will lead to drastic changes in the way we use educational technology, as well as in the organization and ethics of education. With the present contribution, we try to modelize the PLE of students within institutions of higher education in Morocco. Based on data from a questionnaire put online using

Air pollution caused by gas emission dispersion leads to damage of the environment and is harmful to humans. In this article, we study and analyze the gas emissions of nitrogen oxide (NOX), sulfur oxide (SOX), and Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPHs) in Al Rifaee City. The feedback and main source of pollution was due to the production of crude oil from the Gharraf oil field (GOF), located in the northwest direction of Al Rifaee City. The highest monthly total emission rate for all years was for TPHs (79499.8685 MMSCF); it was 6483.69, and 1560.73 tons) for NOX and SOX, respectively. The value of correlation factor R2 for NOX was equal to 0.190, which is higher than SO

Ab initio Study of the Electronic and Optical Properties of Stable Boron Sheet
...Show More Authors

Utilizing first principles calculations within PW91 exchange-correlation method, we investigated a boron sheet that exhibits related electronic properties. The 2-dimensional boron sheet is flattened and has an atomic structure where the pair cores of every three ordered hexagons within the hexagonal network are loaded up by extra atoms, which saves the triangular lattice symmetry. The boron sheet takes possession of intrinsic metal properties and the electronic bands are comparable to the  bands of the graphene that are close to the Fermi level. The real and imaginary parts of the dielectric function show a metallic or semiconductor behaviour, depending on the electric field direction.

UNSTEADY PRESSURE DROP AND HEAT TRANSFER OFMAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC ANNULAR TWO-PHASE INRECTANGULAR CHANNEL

presented, in the model one; the magnetic field is perpendicular to the long side of

study, to some extent the single-phase liquid flow.
It is found that the motion and heat transfer equations are controlled by different
dimensionless parameters namely, Reynolds, Hartmann, Prandtl, and Poiseuille
parameters. The Laplace transform technique is used to solve each of the motion and

The processed samples were thoroughly analyzed macroscopically and microscopically. The as-cast microstructure of eutectic (α Al+ Si) and primary Si were fragmented to produce spheroidization of small size of Si and deformed matrix. The stir zones showed an increase in hardness from around 45-50 Hv for as-cast to 40-65 depending on the variables applied. Nanoparticles of gold and copper as well as the blood (the base fluid) is taken into account. By using the Adomian decomposition method to solve the governing equations, formulas for velocity, stream function, temperature, current density, and magnetic force have been obtained. The findings show that Gold nanoparticles have an elevation magnetic force compared with copper nanoparticles, based on fluid (blood) and hybrid nanofluid.
