The Ash'ari theological school presented, throughout its long history, a middle approach that produced a balance between transmission in its clear, definitive form, and reason with its strong proofs, to be a mixture in which its scholars toured, learning about the origins of Is lam and its tolerant doctrine against its traditional non-Muslim op ponents such as Jews, Christians, dualists, and others. And others who believe in the message of Islam, such as the Mushabbah, Mu’tazilites, and others. The school succeeded in performing its role as a defender of the doctrine of the Sunnis and the community, and Orientalism took it alongside critical thinking because of the impact it had on the intellectual side of the cultural arena in addition to the work it occu pied on the political side at that time.
