The study aimed to recognize the impact of polygamy on academic achievement and self-confidence among Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University students. To achieve this goal, the researchers used the Descriptive Analytical method using The Self Confidence measurement ,that has been prepared for the purposes of this study, consists set of 29 questions, then applied to the students sample that emerges from polygamy and one- wife families, study sample consists of randomly selected 230 students registered for the year .1435-1436
The results of the study showed presence of medium statistical impact on the significance level (a 4 0.05), this proof significant statistical effect of polygamy on self-confidence among the sample of Prince Sat-tam University students. However, lack of impact of polygamy on academic achievement among students in Prince Sattam University where (eh' value) of the tow variables did not reach the value of significance level (a 5 0.05). The statistical significant differences at (a 5 0.05) of polygamy on self-confidence among the sample of Prince Sattam University students depending on the variables academic status and economic situation shown to have strong influence, as f-value —5.634 at the significance level (0.00). To detect thedifference points Scheffe test been applied. In light of the study results; the researchers recommend increasing awareness and apply the prober Islamic ruling of polygamy in terms of physical and financial qualifications as well as apply equality between wives and their children, since this issue shown strong impact ,mo Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University students. Polycyclicacetal was prepared from the reaction of PEG with aldehyde derived from Erythro-ascorbic acid (pentulosono-ɣ-lactone-2,3-enedianisoate).All these compounds were characterized by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and FTIR spectra and aldehyde was also characterized by (U.V-Vis), 1HNMR, 13CNMR, and mass spectra.The inhibitory effect of prepared polymer on the activity of human serum AcetylCholinesterase has been studied in vitro. The polymer showed a remarkable activity at low concentration (4.7x10-3 – 4.7x10-8M).
The goal of this study is to investigate the relationship between optimism and life orientation for a subject of female students in the collage of education for women including the first and fourth stage students ,the sample contained (319) students ,(153)of them were a first stagers ,(166) of them were at the fourth stage.
The scale of optimism was built according to a questionnaire pointed to a sample of the students, adding to that reviewing a number of previous scales & studies which was about the same topic.

In the recent years the research on the activated carbon preparation from agro-waste and byproducts have been increased due to their potency for agro-waste elimination. This paper presents a literature review on the synthesis of activated carbon from agro-waste using microwave irradiation method for heating. The applicable approach is highlighted, as well as the effects of activation conditions including carbonization temperature, retention period, and impregnation ratio. The review reveals that the agricultural wastes heated using a chemical process and microwave energy can produce activated carbon with a surface area that is significantly higher than that using the conventional heating method.
