Objectives: ٨ descriptive study has been conducted in the premature baby unit in Al-Khansaa' and Al-Batool
hospitals for maternity and children in Mosul city to assess knowledge and practice of the nursing staff in the
caring of premature infants. A descriptive study has been conducted in the premature baby unit in Al-Khansaa'

Methodology: the data were collected by using knowledge assessment and practice measurement tool.
Results: the results of the study show that high percentages (about 40%) of the staff who work in the premature
baby units are of the young age

In this study, an analysis of the synoptic characteristics, causes and mechanisms of Kahlaa tornado event was carried out. This tornado occurred on 10:30 UTC (1:30 pm Iraq Local Time) on 14 April 2016 to the north of Kahlaa town in Maysan governorate. We analyzed surface and upper charts, weather conditions, the damage indices, the dynamical features and the instability of the tornado. The analysis showed that there was a low pressure system which was an extension of the Monsoon low in addition to a supercell thunderstorm and a jet stream aloft. This study reports the fabrication of tin oxide (SnO₂) thin films using pulsed laser deposition (PLD). The effect of ⁶⁰Co (300, 900, and 1200 Gy) gamma radiation on the structural, morphological, and optical features is systematically demonstrated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and ultraviolet-visible light analysis (UV-Vis), respectively In XRD tests, the size of the crystallites decreased from 45.5 to 40.8 nm for the control samples and from 1200 Gy to 60Co for the irradiated samples.
