A Schiff base ligand (L) was used as primary ligand and potassium anthranilate (Anth) was used as the secondary ligand in the molar ratio M: L:2Anth to synthesize a new platinum(IV) mixed-ligand complex [Pt(L)(Anth)₂]Cl₂. The Schiff base ligand was synthesized by the condensation of 4-Aminoantipyrine with 4-Hydroxybenzaldehyde and was verified as a bidentate ligand. The UV-visible, FT-IR, 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, CHN elemental analysis, molar conductance, chloride ion determination and melting point measurements were used to characterize the ligand and the complex. The results of the molar conductance showed that the electrolytic behavior was 1:2, where the two chloride ions were present outside the coordination sphere, while the spectroscopic and analytical results supported octahedral geometry of the Pt(IV) center. The synthesized complex showed better antimicrobial and cytotoxic activity than the free ligand. Moreover, the molecular docking and SwissADME analyses were in accordance with the experimental results, demonstrating good binding affinity and favorable physicochemical properties. The synthesized Pt(IV) complex exhibited promising biological activities, including cytotoxic activity against breast cancer cells, antibacterial activity, and antioxidant potential, indicating that it represents a promising scaffold for further pharmacological and biological investigations.
Schiff base N,N'-Bis-(4-dimethylamino-benzylidene)-benzene-1,4-diamine has been synthesized from 4-dimethylaminobenzenaldehyde and benzene-1,4-diamine. The structure of Schiff base was obtained by (C.H.N.) microanalysis, Mass, 1HNMR, FT-IR and UV-Vis spectral methods and thermal analysis. Metal mixed ligand complexes of some metal(II) salts with Schiff base ligand and anthranilic acid were prepared in the molar ratio (1:2:2), (Metal):(SBL)2:(Anthra)2, (SBL)= Schiff base ligand, (Anthra) =anthranilic acid and Metal= Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II). The thermal behaviour (TGA) of the complexes was studied. The prepared complexes identified by using mass, thermal analysis, FT.IR and UV-Vis spectrum methods, on otherwise flame

Diagnosis of prepared Ligand and its complexes is done by spectral methods mass spectrometer;1H -NMR for ligand Schiff base FTIR, UV-Vis, molar conductance, elemental microanalyses, atomic absoption and magnetic susceptibility. The analytical studies for the all new complexes have shown octahedral geometries. Bidentate Schiff base ligand 3-(3,4-Dihydroxy-phenyl)-2-[(4-dimethylamino-benzylidene)-amino]-2-methyl-propionic acid was prepared and characterized by spectroscopic techniques studies and elemental analysis. The Cd(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Co(II), Cr(III),and Fe(III) of mixed-ligand complexes were structural explicate through Moler conductance , [FT-IR, UV-Vis & AAS], chloride contents, , and magnetic susceptibility measurements. Octahedral geometries have been suggested for all complexes. The Schiff base and its complexes were tested against various bacterial species, two of {gram(G+) and gram(G-)} were shown weak to good activity against all bacteria.
In this research, a group of complexes were prepared which were derived from Schiff base ligands, which is called (1E,1'E)-1,1'-(1,2-phenylene)bis(N-(2,4-dichlorophenyl) methanimine) (L) with ortho-phenanthroline (o-phen).The prepared complexes areM(II) [Co(II),Ni(II),Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II),and Hg(II)].A range of spectroscopic and technical techniques have been used to characterizethese materials, including:The FTIR, 1H-NMR, LC-Mass Spectrum, UV-Visbale, molar conductance, and magnaticmoment, atomic absorbtion, chlorid contents. Spectral results obtainedare showen that (ortho-phen) and (L) behave as neutral coordinating to the central metal ion by the donatingatoms(N2)of the both compounds. The geometry sha
